AOC says she's a Sexual Assault Survivor !
On Jan 6th when the rumps people attacked Capitol Hill, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez thought they were going to 'kill' her, as the thugs kept banging on her office door, that she felt compelled to hide in the bathroom!! She was terrified!
So on Monday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez finally disclosed that she was a sexual assault survivor, (as she spoke about last month’s Capitol riot.) Unfortunately a few years ago ...she had suffered through a Sexual Assault.
The trauma that she felt back then (after the sexual assault), combined with the terror she was feeling on the 6th
of January was totally devastating! “I haven’t told many people that,” she said. “But when we go through trauma, trauma compounds on each other.”
So sad that she had to go through this..

Her harrowing account, which she posted Monday night, is a reminder of just how violent the Capitol insurrection was, and how narrowly some of our elected officials escaped with their lives
(others at the Capitol, including a police officer, weren't so lucky).
And it's an unmistakable call to action: If we want to heal as a nation, we need real accountability -- not the denial and distractions that many Republicans are offering.
Before the Capitol building was even fully cleaned up, and as the rump continued to spreadthe election fraud lie that incited the riot in the first place, Republicans were already calling on the country to "move on" and forget what we just endured.

It’s despicable that Republicans won’t vote to impeach considering what happened on Jan 6. I think they felt protected the whole time, knowing that the rioters were going after only Dems. I wish some Americans would wake up and realize the gravity of what happened that day and what can happen going forward.
