OMG I just watched his press conference. When a reporter asked him a question about how his flat tax might disproportionately put the burden on the poor - specifically when you consider the individual state taxes vary and are often very high - and Carson said he had considered it, but if the taxes in a state are too high then "everybody should pick up and move to another state. That's how it is supposed to work."
SMH
You have one frontrunner who's going to go neighbourhood to neighbourhood knocking on doors and looking for the "illegals" to mark, deport and to hell with the families, and the other guy thinks if his tax plan is too tough on the poorest people they can just pick up and roam until they find cheap state taxes to offset it enough to survive.
Plus they want to repeal the ACA ripping insurance from millions and have nothing in place to replace it with.
And don't even get me started on Carson's rambling speech about how China is in the Middle East now.
What the hell, GOP? Do these people represent you?

It looks bleak. Worthless Republicans. Where are the younger candidates with brains? Even on the Dem side.......the choice isn't difficult this time but not too many choices. And what about the future??? a bit worrisome.

This story, along with his affiliations with Mannatech, makes me believe this guy is all about personal monetary gain. Add to that the fact that he suspended his presidential campaign to sell more books makes it pretty obvious what he's really about, and it ain't integrity. The guy is a snake.

I can't believe I live in a country that produces such ignorant & arrogant ppl. I am awestruck with their ability to be so successful, yet remain woefully vapid . Only in America? I hope, because the world can't handle this much stupid!

Carson penned a gushing letter of support for his friend. He wrote that "next to my wife of 32 years, there is no one on this planet I trust more than Al Costa." He also testified at Costa's sentencing in March 2008. At that hearing, Carson told the judge: "Well, I feel very strongly, obviously, about Al Costa. You know, he's one of my closest, if not my closest, friend. We were, we became friends about a decade ago. We found that, you know, our value systems were almost identical." Carson said that if Costa were to be incarcerated, it would harm the Carson charity and possibly force the Pittsburgh chapter to shutter.
His best friend was convicted of medical fraud for overbilling insurance companies for services not rendered, and for getting a $10,000 fee for years after he was no longer actually practicing dentistry at the clinic.

Ben's mother's account of the hammer story proves her son is a GD liar.
From Ben Carson's book "Gifted Hands" which by the way is not a story about massages and happy endings:
"'I don't care,' I spun to face her. 'I hate them, and I wouldn't be caught death in them ... They're not what I want.'
"She folded the pants across the back of the plastic kitchen chair. 'I can't take them back.' Her voice was patient. 'They were on special."
"I don't care,' I spun to face her. 'I hate them, and I wouldn't be caught death in them ... They're not what I want.'
"She took a step forward. 'Listen Bennie. We don't always get what we want out of life.'
Heat poured through my body, inflaming my face, energizing my muscles ... My right arm drew back, my hand swung forward. Curtis jumped me from behind, wrestling me away from Mother, pinning my arms to my side."
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Daily Mail Online has unearthed an interview given by Carson's mother, Sonya, to the Detroit Free Press's Sunday magazine, Detroit, in 1988 in which she recounts her own recollection - rather different - of the incident.
Speaking then Mrs Carson was clear as the article reported:
'His mother…remembers the time she and Bennie had a spat over clothes he wanted for school. 'He raised his hand; she reached for the hammer she had out while working on the house. The two might really have tangled, she says, had not her older son Curtis....stepped in between them.'
She admitted at the time, 'I'm still working on my temper…but God seems to have done Bennie a really big favor.'

That was the best skit of the night! Jay Pharoah nailed it so hard. "Here I come with the quickness...." <shuffles over>

This was painful to watch.
He's speaks in a slow monotone and is less shrill, but I think Carson is dumber than Palin.

Trevor Noah:
"At this rate, I wouldn't be shocked to find out Carson thought the Gaza Strip was a titty bar in Vegas".

This is starting to get scary!Hours after telling reporters that he saw a video of American Muslims in New Jersey cheering on Sept. 11, 2001, when the World Trade Center's twin towers fell, Ben Carson's campaign apologized for the remarks, saying he "doesn't stand behind" them and that they were "a mistake."When asked by ABC News if American Muslims were cheering on 9/11 -- as has been suggested by Donald Trump -- Carson said “Yes.”“I saw the film of it, yeah,” he said and cited "the newsreels" of 9/11 coverage at the time. However, Carson made a 180 a short time later."He doesn't stand behind his comments to New Jersey and American Muslims," said campaign spokesman Doug Watts said. "He was rather thinking of the protests going on in the Middle East and some of the demonstrations that we're going on in celebration of the towers going down."He doesn't stand behind his references and apologizes for the mistaken references. It was a mistake on his part and he clearly wasn't really thinking about New Jersey, he was thinking about the Middle East."

Yeah I always get New Jersey and the Middle east confused.

Remember what I said about Carson being as dumb as Palin?
Ben Carson Praises Thomas Jefferson For 'Crafting The Constitution'Thomas Jefferson was the minister to France when the U.S. Constitution was drafted in 1787.
Madison is generally credited with drafting the document. Carson has had several books published on the Constitution, allegedly written by him.
