Meddling Grandparents
I read a story about grandparents who went behind the backs of parents of a baby and had the baby's ears pierced. The parents had made it clear that they did not want the baby's ears pierced. The consequence is that the grandparents will have only supervised visits going forward.
I think it's fair. The grandparents over-stepped! What nerve! Any opinions?

Those grandparents crossed a line, especially since the baby’s parents made their opinion clear. They’re lucky they still get to see their grandchild.

Another stupid family story:
An 18-year-old young woman, reunited with her father, now married to a woman who is stepmother to the young woman, is having trouble sorting out a weird situation. The stepmother is pregnant and she is insisting on naming the new baby the same name as the young woman: Roseanne. The stepmom loves roses.
The father is saying the young woman is not being mature about this and the stepmom says she is selfish.

I blame the father....what an idiot....
And the new baby is going to feel weird as well....sharing a name with her much older step sister...crazy people
