The FCC has voted to give phone companies permission to block obvious robocalls before they reach phones. New technology is being tested, but won't go into effect until 2020. Is there anyone who hasn't been waiting for this? We've even had calls with our own name showing up on the caller id.

I'm glad they're doing this....I sometimes get calls that the caller ID actually says "SPAM".....its just very scary...I have a 'block' feature on my phone and thats where those type calls go.

If I don't recognize the name or number,....they get blocked!!

If my own name showed up on my phone, calling me.....I would report it to the police....these people are getting crazier and crazier!
