Cranberry Pear Relish

*4 cups fresh cranberries
*2 cups pears, peeled and chopped
*1 cup sugar
*3/4 cup water
*1 small onion finely chopped
*3 TBSPS vinegar
*1 TBSP Worstershire sauce
*1/2 tsp each; salt, chili powder, cinnamon
*1/2 cup golden raisins

Combine all the ingredients except the raisins. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to medium. Cook 5-10 minutes, stirring often. Add raisins, cook 5 more minutes. Keeps 3 weeks
Makes 4 cups
And it can be frozen

It's good with turkey, or ham or pork roast. It's especially good over Bree or Camembert cheese. I bake it in the oven and serve it with crackers.....yummy!

Re: Cranberry Pear Relish

Thanks, Clean. This is one I will make for Christmas for sure. I never have time. cossy wrote a chili recipe here and I haven't had time to try it but it's on my list.
Am I crazy? Did cossy post a vegan chili recipe? Old age settin' in.......
