Re: Crazy insurrectionists in Oregon

I think this situation illustrates the quote "One man's terrorist is another mans freedom fighter", and vise- versa.

It depends what your perception of the issue is.  Personally, I think this group are acting like domestic terrorists, but that's MY perception.

I understand what you are saying danyi. I think it is true.

That is why that video was so hard to watch.  He was very sincere about what he was saying but it seemed so unrealistic and ridiculous and kind of pathetic.

I totally agree.  I can't imagine being married to someone with that mentality, saying good-bye to your wife and kids?  The sad part is that I could see a Muslim extremist making the same sort of video, honestly believing in their distorted cause or belief.  I think this is some form of a mental illness.

They are selfish, cowards, that care about no one but themselves...and they are terrorists...they may as well just strap a bomb onto themselves.  Borrowing money for their businesses from the same Federal Govt that they claim to hate.

The Feds should just cut the electricity to that building, give them no food...and so be it. They will eventually just pass the cool aid around.....

Has anyone read or heard why they won't (Feds) do this very simple thing? I am missing coverage today-so just curious why a reasonable non violent way to start shutting the loonies down is not being used? (twinkies not withstanding)

Stephen Colbert:"And while these men might be great patriots, they're not great planners, because evidently they didn't pack a lot of food. So they turned to Facebook yesterday and asked people to send supplies, snacks, anything,"

Colbert shared."Snacks! What heroic, go-it-alone mountain men always needed. Gogurt, string cheese and Lunchables."

He continued, "These confused, fragile, armed creatures need somewhere to live where civilization won't upset them. Sadly, there's no hope of establishing a breeding program because frankly, it's a bit of a sausage fest."

I don't know why they haven't cut the electricity, but I think it has to do with the fact that these people WANT to cause an incident, and are looking for any provocation to escalate this. Leaving them out there by themselves without much media coverage and not a cop in sight...I think the plan is just to let them sit there until spring. The locals don't even want them there so pressure might cause them to leave on their own at some point, if they keep getting ignored.

Re: Crazy insurrectionists in Oregon

The GOPs are always berating Obama and Hillary for not using the term Radical Islamic Terrorism.

Haven't heard any on the right referring to the Oregon goofs as Radial Right Wing Terrorists.

They're armed, they're occupying government property, they say they'd rather die than go to jail.
So what's the difference?

Maybe the government should go after their families to teach them a lesson.
Wasn't that Trump's great idea for retaliation against Muslim extremists?

Sometimes silence is the best response. This is one of those times.
