Thank God For Obama
A friend e-mailed this to me and I totally agree.
10 Sailors were held overnight because their boat broke down, had bad comms, and drifted into Iranian waters.
The Iranians picked them up, held them and their boat until morning. They were released this morning, with all equipment.
Can you imagine what would have happened if there was a GOP in the WH?
I heard everything from launching tomahawks, to sending in SEAL teams to rescue the men and one woman who was "captured".
The biggest thing was they were talking about this only happened because President Obama was weak. I am thankful that President Obama was sitting in the Oval Office last night and not any republican.
WW III was postponed another day.

The right wing sites are so disappointed that the sailors have been released, it's ridiculous. It's like they had the "America Held Hostage" banners all ready to go. Does anyone remember when Iran took a bunch of UK sailors and held them for almost two weeks? But of course, they took them because Obama is weak, not because they strayed into their waters.
It's so sad how much salivating was going on. People honestly would rather have a crisis involving their service people than see Obama succeed.
They must be so pissed off and depressed today!

They pray for their country to fail, they have nothing good to say about it, only bad, you tell me which party is un-American. They've got to be so disappointed today that some of our great servicemen and one woman weren't detained indefinitely or worse, killed. Sorry bunch of human beings. War mongers, hate mongers, fear mongers.

I agree!...My America is already great! It's ridiculous and UN-American that EVERYONE doesn't feel that way.
They agree with that crazy man that hates America...and they follow him like idiots.

The way the GOPs are trying to turn this into a huge scandal is laughable.
I was at the gym earlier and as usual FOX was on.
Every two minutes, their stupid alert banner would come up followed by video of our Navy personnel with their hands up in the air. No mention of the fact that by this morning the detainees were safely in US hands.
What would the US do if an Iranian or Russian ship violated our waters, wave and send them on their way?

The GOP finally thought they had an Obama failure to laud over the elections. I know they must be very disappointed that the situation was so quickly resolved and our men and woman were released this morning. Crisis averted. Thank God President Obama was in office. This situation would not have been resolved without incident if it were a republican sitting in the oval office. Level heads prevailed once again.
No matter how educated, talented, rich, or cool you think you are, how you treat people tells us all. Integrity is everything.

You're so right.
The GOPs would be only to happy to start WW III.
Just think how much money they could make.
Cheney and Haliburton were on the verge of bankruptcy before the Iraq war. The war earned them 39.5 billion,
but at least they kept us safe. LOL.

Yeah, we do celebrate hardily when great things happen for our Servicemen, our Country and our President.
Unfortunately, others do not, and wanted a different outcome.....but our country prevailed and our Navy guys and woman are safe.
