Hillary Clinton to make a January stop in Beaumont

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will come to Beaumont Jan. 20 for a fundraiser, according to her campaign website.
The event, exactly a year before the presidential inauguration, will be between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the home of a local couple.
Tickets cost $1,000, or $2,700 to have a picture taken with Clinton.
Beaumont is one of three Texas cities on her fundraising schedule. She will be in Houston Jan. 19.
Clinton will fly into Beaumont from San Antonio, where she will be fundraising in the morning.
In other words cuckoos, there was no public appearance scheduled and she was flying from one city to another on the same day to attend PRIVATE fundraisers.
No public appearances were scheduled and she was obviously pressed for time.

Close to 250 people attended the private event, said former Congressman Nick Lampson, who works for the host and who knows the Clintons from their past campaign efforts in his behalf.
Her campaign took in more than $400,000 from the event, Lampson said.
Clinton arrived about 1:40 p.m. after a San Antonio fundraiser. She left the home at 3:15 for Burlington, Iowa, where the first-in-the-nation primary caucus will be held in 11 days.
(That's a pretty full schedule for a broad who Breitbart claims has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel.)
