Cari...your problem is that YOU joined us...still not sure why....but EVERYTIME you're on here and respond to one of our posts...its always in the negative about our group or to one of our members because of their opinion about the other group (s). Stay away from those posts/threads if they upset you.
You deny that however, you must know that all of our members CAN read, and CAN comprehend, and when you go back to that other group and insult us we see it and READ it....DUH???
Now, since you joined that other new group...I've seen how you post over there...you are totally respectful, it doesn't sound like the person that you portray on here. I'm not sure if its the real you or someone portraying you.
The people that were banned from this group...insulted and cursed at OUR members...Glad they're gone.
Just say what you have to say about the thread subject matter and move on...Can you do that? If you can't because your loyalties are compromised by doing so then move on to another thread. That's all I can suggest...you don't seem happy when you are here...
At one time Dori and I believed you were sent here to spy on us...but some of our members wanted you here because they do like posting with you....so here we are...the balls' in your court.
Not agreeing is fine...insulting this group or any of its members...will NOT be allowed, I can't make it any clearer than that.

I just don't understand the obsession 6 months later. Good grief people." Posters are on your board bring up specific posters here on a REGULAR basis, but not PEEP from you about it. You may have a valid point if you were calling out posters here and THERE for doing the same exact thing, but that's not what you're doing. I stand by my original comment, going back to your board and saying (I don't have to waste my time over there like I did yesterday. I should have known that my response to them would go right over their head, it never fails. LOL!) was tacky and unkind lumping everyone as "all the same over there".
I'm glad you feel comfortable to come here and speak your mind without the fear of being banned, something that can't happen on your board.
Danyi, nothing has gone over my head. I've never refused to acknowledge what goes on over at the Refugee board. There is a stark similarity which is what I keep pointing out. LOL That seems to get lost in translation.
My involvement with this thread started with a comment to Braveone. Lets go back for a second. This thread was started by Shiny talking, in a very disrespectful manner, about a woman and her son who is not a member of this board nor is she a member of the Refugee board. But somehow the comments very quickly turned into throwing insults at posters on the RB. Braveone comes in and says lets leave the mean spirited bigots to themselves. I ask her how she can read the comments here and then call others on another board mean spirited bigots. She asked me to clarify and I did. I said the same can be said about this board, which is true. Braveone has yet to come back and respond to me but not surprisingly, I was called mean spirited by others.
I do have valid points and I don't have to go over to that board and say the same thing to make them valid.
I will say this, I shouldn't have lumped you into my comments I made about 'it never fails' because you rarely posts and aren't part of the daily ugliness. I am sorry for that.
I stick by my previous comment that I pointed out to you that you brought up the WMD's first. The thread on WMD's did not start on the RB until after you brought it up.
It is nice that I can come here and speak my mind, even if it is followed with personal attacks. I wish I could say the same about those that were banned from this board. I guess speaking your mind can't always happen here either.

Hi esm and Sam...
We got about 8 inches of snow...and expecting more overnight....at least its only about 6 weeks until spring. I did read that areas south of us got clobbered with up to 2 feet of snow...so I guess I can't complain....

I know I don't post much but being snowed in today, I've had a chance to read all 3 boards & the thing that's clear to me is that ALL of them spend a fair amount of time bashing each other. I guess maybe that's what happened on The View MB & the only difference is that one could directly address the person doing the bashing. Now the members of each board read the other boards or someone reports what they read & the bashing begins. The thing that seems crazy to me is that some posters can't understand why others post on the board they're not on...For instance, some wonder why anyone posts on shiny's board because they believe she is a fraud but they have no problem posting on viewsurvivor's board when she created profiles on her board & posted as people she knew she had never allowed to join or letting her join a board with a number of Canadians when she & many of her pals regularly insulted Canadians on The View MB & on many occasions told them they shouldn't be posting or commenting about American politics since they weren't Americans!!!
I guess I agree with Vantro, that since these are only MB's & we really don't know what or who is real & what or who is fake, maybe some people just want to have discussions about current events & they don't have to be stupid, blind or gullible because it's about opinions not people. And if we could all be respectful & civil to one another then NO ONE would have ever had to be banned!!! And that includes ALL the boards including the original View MB. Except for the spammers, .I enjoyed my years posting on the original board. & eventually realized that the "Ignore" option was my friend. ..I truly hope that sometime soon all 3 boards will tire of going back & forth & will move on to being the boards everyone says they want...ones to exchange opinions even different ones in a non hostile, civil environment..I can't wait because I really do miss most of you.

SEC, I share your sentiments. I think we had a good thing when view first started her board but then they suddenly evicted almost all of the liberal/ democratic posters and it just wasn't the same anymore. I too hope that one day peace can be made and old issues could be laid to rest and we could all post together again on the same board. I do miss that. I hate the division that has taken place.

While I appreciate some of the posters saying that perhaps we can someday make peace..I would like that as well.......However,.....I really doubt it will happen...
I know I want NOTHING to do with any mb that has Viewsurvivor as a member....or whomever she is today. Troublemaker,,,today and forever...her followers too.
Never apologized...just did it and BOOM...So here we are...no worries, no walking on eggshells...peace at last.

Hi Spunky, I do know that it is wishful thinking on my part. Believe me I am not holding my breath on everyone making peace. I just wish it could be different but realistically I know it isn't going to be.

You have come back with a bang and I expect nothing less. 
My thoughts;
You are absolutely correct, both boards (don't know of a third) spend a fair amount of time bashing each other. The shit about shiny, viewsurvivor, Canadians etc.. I know nothing about because I don't pay attention to shit.
I joined this board hoping to chat about things of diverse interest and intelligence. I did find that but not to the extent I was hoping for.
There is too much mention of the 'other board' imo which is just gossip and takes away from a more interesting and informative discussion.
In my Utopian thinking there would be one diverse board, with NO gossip, where it is safe to say what you want and share opinions in a "non hostile, civil environment".
So great to hear from you again SEC! Hope to chat more with you on a variety of issues. I remember your opinion to be knowledgeable and of value. Not to say that we agreed 100% but it is around 97%
