Michigan Republican, L. Brooks Patterson, an Oakland County executive claims the Flint water crisis is “vastly overstated” and may even be a hoax.
A Flint-native and former Republican lawmaker Bill Ballenger was discussing Gov. Rick Snyder's State of the State address Tuesday, Jan. 19, on WKAR's "Off the Record" when he told other panelists he has not seen any problems associated with the city's water supply.
"I run water over my rice every weekend in Flint and we've got no problems," Ballenger told former Senate Democratic leader Gretchen Whitmer. "None of the people on my street do and the situation in Flint is nowhere near as bad as you are depicting."
American Family Association official Sandy Rios:
“The whole issue in Michigan — the left loves to, they’re now creating this, I’m sorry, I’m going to really go out on a limb here.
They (liberals) love to come up with tragedies and they love to blame and they love to scare people. I think this issue in Michigan is a serious one but I don’t think it’s the big issue that these other issues (ISIS, our borders) are.”
When a caller told Rios that she was “devaluing black life” by dismissing the importance of the turmoil in Flint, she insisted that that was impossible because she had no idea whether Flint residents are predominantly black or white.
(52% of Flint residents are black)

Well I guess liberals prefer to live in reality instead of 1950s fantasy capitalism land where big business is your friend, the government is small, but judgmental & blacks knew their place. I wish these so-called ppl would drink a gallon of the water or stfu!

I agree....I want those that doubt what's happening in Flint, to drink the water and let their family members drink it too. Then we will see how fast they change their minds.
