I cringed, even for him that was awful. Having read some comments from Trump fanatics on other boards I seriously am starting to doubt they mean what they say. How can anyone really be that ridiculous?

It is very embarrassing that so many people think Trump
will "make America great again".

Sam, consider the people you know who are backing Trump, there's your answer.
The majority of them are racists, rednecks, religious radicals who have no time for any other religion but Christianity (Catholics are border line Christians according to them), pro-life extremists (no abortion even if raped),Obama haters, Hillary haters, the list goes on and on.
As far as poorly educated, they get their education from right wing "wacukoos" who want to teach kids that a few thousand years ago, life on Earth was pretty much like "the Flintstones".
Trump plays to that audience.
Who else would believe all the BS he's promising without any details?
When ever he's asked for details, his stock answer is I'm just going to do it and it's going to be terrific, trust me",
and that's good enough for them.

In the debate last night when asked about releasing his tax returns, he stated that he is audited every year by the IRS. He says he doesn't know why. Then he said, that they may be targeting him because of his strong Christian beliefs.
WTH?
