President Barack Obama is enjoying some of the highest ratings of his second term in office. A new Gallup poll out on Thursday shows that 50 percent of Americans surveyed approve of the job he's doing in office -- his highest rating in that poll since early 2013.
And then there's the Redumblican congress.
GOP Congress, Approval Remains Low at 19%

The latest BLS jobs report shows little sign employers are worried about the future strength of the recovery. Both the employer and household surveys suggest U.S. employers have an undiminished appetite for new hires.
Nonfarm payrolls surged 242,000 in February, and upward revisions BLS employment estimates for January added almost 21,000 to estimated payroll gains in that month.
The household survey shows even bigger job gains in recent months. An additional 530,000 respondents said they were employed in February compared with January. This follows reported employment gains of 485,000 and 615,000 in December and January. Over the past year the household survey showed employment gains that averaged 237,000 per month. In comparison, the employer survey reported payroll gains averaging 223,000 a month.
These monthly gains are about three times faster than the job growth needed to keep the unemployment rate from climbing. As a result, the unemployment rate has fallen over the past year, reaching 4.9 percent in January

Joe Biden: In the last six months of the Bush administration, the U.S. lost 3.5 million jobs, including 760,000 jobs during January 2009 alone.

According to Gallup, President Obama's approval rating is now on par with Ronald Reagan's approval rating at the same point in their respective presidencies.
Do we get to call Obama St. Barack now?

You just can't convince people that don't want to hear, their hatred is just too deep. They will never give him credit, if a Republican were to get into office, heaven forbid, their first week there, they would be taking credit for the jobs created, it's a fact. I hope Pres. Obama and his family ride into the sunset and enjoy every minute of their lives, and the haters continue to hate and live the miserable lives they've created for themselves. I used to feel sorry for my sister, she was so unhappy every day of her life, now I realize she really thrives on it, the complete hatred for a man who has done nothing but good for this country. Has he made mistakes, yes, they just can't admit that we are so much better off than when a Republican was in office. I just read some comments my sister made on facebook about Mrs. Obama, also used to say nasty things about Chelsea Clinton, you think you know someone, it's sad when you're faced with the reality of what some people are. Not a good day.

That's sad.
I make it a point not to discuss politics with friends or family who don't share my views.
It's not worth it.
You'll never change their minds and they'll never change yours.
It's sort of like posters on message boards. LOL

I agree, I don't discuss politics with my sister, I've told her I'm not interested, she posts things on facebook so that I have to see them. Most of the family just take it and don't share our opinions with her, she keeps trying though.
