Obama Motorcade Cripples Austin
Austin officials spoke in apocalyptic terms about what Obama’s motorcade-related stoppages could do to Austin streets.Their advice to work-a-day Austinites: stay away from the city’s core.
Jason Stanford, spokesman for Austin Mayor Steve Adler issued a stern warning.
"This is a good day to work from home. I would advise citizens to not leave their homes unless absolutely necessary".

LOL There are many things to create a perfect storm there. The weather was horrible, SXSW, Obama, and the regular gridlock traffic Austin suffers which is on par with CA. My DIL landed there last night-she was impressed with how well it was being handled.
