Trump: “Carson is an enigma to me,” he said, before offering a summary of one of Carson’s books. “He said that he’s ‘pathological’ and that he’s got, basically, pathological disease...I don’t want a person that’s got pathological disease.”

"He was a doctor, perhaps an OK doctor, by the way. You should check that out too. We're not talking about a great [doctor]. He was an OK doctor," Trump said.

"I don't know about Ben Carson's faith. And all of a sudden he becomes this great religious figure? I don't think he's a great religious figure. And I saw him yesterday quoting something — and he was quoting on humility — and he looked like he had just memorized it two minutes before he made the quote. So don't tell me about Ben Carson,"

Trump, who has reversed his own position on abortion, added that Carson was "horrendous" on the issue.

"Ben Carson, you're talking about his faith?" Trump said. "Go back and look at his past. Go back and look at his views on abortion and see where he stands. You talk about abortion — I mean, go back and look at his views on abortion."

"Frankly, he makes Bush look like the Energizer Bunny," Trump quipped. "He's very low key."

And Trump also said Carson was not qualified for the Oval Office.

"Because he's a doctor, and he hired one nurse, he's going to end up being the president of the United States?"
Trump mused. "Ben Carson is not going to be your next president. That I can tell you."

Like maybe the Surgeon General gig?

I am no longer shocked. I have always known that the republican party harbored this type of person. For years Republicans have clutched at their pearls when called the party of xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, racists(&then some), yet here we are with a xenophobic, misogynistic, homophobic, racist as the party's front runner. What more can be said other than

For all those trumpeters who thought Ted Cruz was so awful for doing what he did to Ben Carson,
here's what the foul mouthed front runner said today:

Donald Trump: The comments I made about Carson where I compared him to a child molester was “part of the game".

In November, Trump spoke about Carson’s tales of his violent youth.“You know, when he says he went after his mother and wanted to hit her in the head with a hammer, that bothers me. I mean, that’s pretty bad,” Trump stated.

“I’m not saying anything other than pathological is a very serious disease. And he said he’s pathological, somebody said he has pathological disease.“It’s in the book that he’s got a pathological temper,” Trump continued.

“That’s a big problem because you don’t cure that. You don’t cure these people. You don’t cure a child molester. There’s no cure for it. Pathological, there’s no cure for that,” he said.

“Well, it was part of the game,” Trump explained. “And all I was doing was trying to say exactly what he said about his growing up, which was tough and I just all I did was read parts of what he said and then I hoped, but it all worked out.

I never bought into Carson in any way, shape or form, especially as a candidate for POTUS.
Being good at separating Siamese twins doesn't fit the job description.

my favorite explanation is that Carson felt Trump needed a little God, and he was going to help. Now I don't doubt Dr Carson's good intentions, but given Trump's attitude towards divine forgiveness you have to wonder if the good doctor isn't a little too naive for politics.

"Even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president, which I don't think is the case, I think he's going to surround himself with really good people, but even if he didn't, we're only looking at four years as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever."

Carson told NEWSMAX’S Steve Malzberg that he was offered a place in a Trump administration.

DR. BEN CARSON: I do believe, and certainly in my discussions with Donald Trump, he does love America and he does want to be successful. And, he will surround himself with very good people.

    NEWSMAX’S STEVE MALZBERG: And will one of them be Dr. Ben Carson?

    Carson: I will be doing things as well, yeah.

    Malzberg: In the administration.

    Carson: Certainly in an advisory capacity.

    Malzberg: That’s been determined? You’ve, when you sat down with him that was discussed?

    Carson: Yes.

I thought Carson said he was was reluctantly running for president, when all he really wanted to do in his retirement was to learn to play the organ?

Why does a very wealthy, retired brain surgeon need a job?

I think his ego is as big as "The Donald's" and there are only so many Siamese twins that need separating to keep him in the headlines.

And let's face it, his wife's singing career is going nowhere.

She's no Ella Fitzgerald. Mary Wilson? Maybe.
