I haven't been here long, I tried to read most of the messages, and I haven't seen any baiting or nastiness. For me it is sheer relief to be on a board like this, and i wouldn't want it to be anything like the old board.

Spunky, why do you find the need to continually mock and bait posters  who you think are lurking?   Do you think it's possible that many of the posters from the other board choose not to join the conversations here after seeing the constant childish mocking and nasty comments?
 

H caribou. I think some posters are still in the ventiing mode about the mass bannings. Hopefully, it will be over soon & we can start enjoyng this forum & maybe those on the refugee board can do the same. What's really funny is that on the "Troll Alert" thread on the refugee board there is plenty of bad mouthing going on but you haven't chastised any of them that " mock and bait posters who are lurking". The difference is that we have said over & over that no matter how we feel about what happened, we still welcome anyone ( almost anyone) that wants to join & Not troll.Yes, we can read but can't join.There will alwaysbe posters that say thiings iin ways that otgers wouldn't...That is their right . And NO ONE will be getting banned for simply having a difference of opinion. I suggest we all do what we do in our everyday lives when we encounter people who respond in different ways than the way we do. Either ignore them, or confront them. But hopefully do it like adults & not middle school students.
 

I have to say dori, I am all for free speech, but it seems to me that certain people aren't happy unless they are attacking....Julia and Godiva for starters, just too toxic and upsetting.

We don't insult anyone on here...you disagree...you state your OPINION and then move on. You don't question what someone's motive may be...because it differs from yours... All of those followers over there were normal posters...posting opinions..not always agreeing and yet we existed...Now look at where they are...and look at what 'Mr View with 13 personas' has done to them.

Spunky, I stated an opinion, which everyone has claimed is welcomed.  You are questioning my motive while specifically saying you don't question a persons motive.   You're doing and acting exactly as your accusing those on the other of doing.

I'm fully aware of what happened with the other board and who it involved.  However, the derrogatory comments here have been directed at all the posters that are still there and haven't come over here.  You have specifically called out Nip more than once baiting her.  What did she do to you on the other board?  You say you want them to see how it feels...see how what feels? 

All I did was point out that's it's possible some of the posters you're wanting to come join this board are reading it and choosing not to because of the nasty comments.   The behavior by some here is no different than what went on over there and you can't even see it.  

There are many great people that still post on the other board and don't deserve to be treated like they are beneath anyone here.  Again, it's just my opinion.

Hi Dori,  I expressed an opinion and get jumped on.   Wasn't this suppose to be a place to freely express yourself? 
My comment to Spunky should explain why her.   It's been mentioned daily several times why certain people won't join this board and it's discussions, especially by Spunky.   I voiced my opinion that maybe it's becasue of the nastiness directed at those on the other board and maybe that is why they choose not to come here.

Cindy, I didn't like what went on during that last day and hated to see everyone banned.  I'm not disputing what all happened.
