Cari, I expressed my opinion about what went on over on the old board...they were the nasty ones...We couldn't say anything...I asked a question and my words were changed.. I don't allow anyone to change any of my words.

When Shiny defended the fact that I was asking a question..she got banned...shortly thereafter I got banned...And then the rest of the mass bannings happened.

I do call out those sitting up there in the rafters EVERY single day...just reading and lurking and more interested in what is happening here then over there. It is creepy!

Did any of you stand up for those of us that got banned???? NO!!...none of you did.. YOU just let it happen and said nothing because you knew that you would be banned as well. I've always defended anyone getting bullied, wouldn't tolerate it happening to anyone..And I wish that I had had the opportunity to tell them all to go fuck off before I was banned. But now at least I've said it..and they know.

I will continue to call out those lurking our board (yours too since you are here) and just want them to stand up and protest what went on in banning all of us..and admitting that it was totally WRONG. BUt No one has done that, what are they afraid of? They like being controlled?
That crazy view woman that has all those personas should scare you...You don't find anything wrong with that??

If they don't want me to call them out...then they can go back to view and her cronies and continue to be manipulated...I don't really care.. But you come here, posting after several days of silence and then jump on me and accuse me of baiting those lurking up there... Yeah call it what you want...but they are the ones that are lurking and baiting us. I know the truth hurts but those leaders are just manipulators and those lurking us are just her folllowers.

We may have gotten off on the wrong foot earlier today...but you started it...I will continue to 'bait' as you call it those lurkers up there in hopes that they wake up...and come out of the trance that they are in.. Was very happy to hear that you are one of the few that did "WAKE UP". So, if they don't like hearing my call outs to them they can stop the baiting by lurking this site.

When they start to stand up for what is right...then they will be welcome here as well...NO one is in a trance here. Our words won't be changed even when we disagree with one another.

Caribou. Thanks! I openly admit I've read the postings this evening on your board and am disappointed if true. However I've been around the block enough to know that anyone can be behind a keyboard, God knows we've seen it happen on the VIEW MB more than once. That said, like I've reiterated before, IMO View was wrong in banning everyone. Diversity is what made the View board work, before a few decided to manipulate it by spamming and threatening etc, In discussing politics the interchange can become heated and people are passionate in their views and delivery. From where I sit, not having had any involvement in the supposed underhanded activity, it does burn, even more so when an argument is hAndled by Private messages and those banned not only have no recourse but have no way to contact the moderator for an explanation,
The message board has been a huge learning curve in social media and I have to say I'm disappointed that a group of primarily women are not capable of interacting without drama.

Finally, I wish all on the other board the best of luck and hope life brings you what you dream. We've been through the good, the bad and the ugly together for the past 8 years. Peace to all of you. And to those I've dissed and offended in the past, I apologize and wish you well

SEC, I've been reading both boards since everyone left and the other board had noone commenting on this board at all. I was actually quite impressed with that considering what I was seeing over here and still am. The comments didn't start over there until yesterday. Funny, how the behavior was so awful over there but it's just cute venting here.

Caribou, it is totallly untrue that noone on the other board was discussiing this board until yesterday. I too have been reading both boards since the mass bannings & as soon as posters started asking quuestons some posters started with the insults.. I also know for a fact many things were said thru private messaging & much of what was said were lies . I never called the venting on either board "awful". It's expected that people are angry.It's also exppected that people will pick sides . You are doing exactly what you accuse others of doing.Taking the comments of one or two posters & attributing them to everyone here. I certainly don' t believe everyone on the other board feels like XOre, indigo, Keep or Maggie.If you were iimpressed with the comments they've been making then you reallly have no reason to criticize anyone here. And as far as feeling welcome.? Posters welcomed you when they saw youu registered. This was your first post longer than just an " I'll be back" & you were still welcomed..Yes, posters disagreed with you but that is slwsys a posibility on any MB. What didn't happen was noone called you names, or changed your words, or trolled your name, or changed your avatar, or banned you & ALL of those things happened on the refugee board.
I don't have a bone to pick with anyone on either board because these are only discussions on publlic message boards & we should all be mature enough to get over whatever differences we have...Plus, anonymous or not, other people are reading these forums & contrary to some, I do care that people have negative oppinions about how posters from the View MB have two boards because they just couldn't figure a way to accept different opinions!! That is sad to me..
As I said before, it's been less than a week since the mass bannings & hopefully, we will be able to move beyond the raw feelings and both boards can just enjoy whatever contributions are made on both sites..I hope you have a good day and a better weekend.

I can see both sides. There are many people I like on the other board, the majority actually and if I have said anything that would prohbit them from posting here I am truly sorry. However, I am not that naive or uninformed to not know that there have been plenty of personal comments and nastiness at view's board before and after the banning ( Personally, I was banned after telling Billy I liked her, and when I tried to contact view at the admin email...... lo and behold its a fake email address! no way to find out why or how or what I did) As to the people lurking, it has been made clear that all are welcome to join. I can see dropping by, but there are at least 10 at any given time every day! Why not come on in and say hello? How much of the other board was banned? If felt like most of the board, or maybe it was most who werent conserative or 'friends' with certain people, I dont know. It doesnt matter to me. But the amount of lurkers coupled with a couple fake persona applications have made people wary.

I also see that some who post here were treated badly and are resentful of the posters who treated them badly or harrassed them for years. They are allowed to vent; it is their board afterall and if the perpetrators have hurt feelings at the view board maybe they will learn something from hearing how unfair they were. I dont know. As SEC said, this will die down, but people here are posting their frustrations on their board and if people who are eavesdropping see it, it's a case of well, you asked for it.

Bou, I hope you stay, I welocmed you and really want to post with you and I hope others with different POVs come over without fear of being banned there; a board without diversity is no fun at all.
To everyone reading with whom I had pleasant if opposing interchanges, I wish you well, and miss hearing from you!! I hope to see more of you on this side of the visitors bar!!

Caribou,There are many things I could say to you but I know it would only met with opposition! And it would continue,! A little empathy and understanding would go a long way in getting past a problem! The hate on those boards were a lot to process .When I defended a certain poster ,that was experiencing a hard time(I wont get into who or why except to say shes been mentioned here many times) She didnt even feel secure enough to tell me thank you because of the backlash she would have endured by the others for saying a simple thank you to me)so I received a private message!I told her ,I understood and thanks for the pm.! Thats a shame when someone cant express simple gratitude because of being bullied by her friends on there.You and I are have opposing views on political issues and you do get snarky when it comes to that subject ,but I enjoyed posting to you on different subjects! I told you a few times how much I respected you .and noticed to that you never replied! I understood ! You have a good day !

Okay but I didn't see spunky say anything about no one on the other board commenting about this situation until yesterday & being quite impressed with tgar fact. I definitely read several comments, many of them insults about posters who were banned. Maybe ones ideology prevents one from recognizing insults when said by people one agrees with. Maybe?

It could be ideology SEC. Go back to 8/9 on the other threads where it started and take a look. Like I said before, I had been reading the posts all week before I made the mistake of saying something. I really don't want to continue rehashing this. I spoke my opinion about it and that is that.

Or they like you. That board has always been about the poster, not the post. Id still love someone from the other board to tell me why I was banned.

Not only can't I post. I can't even read the posts on the refugee board.

She has me blocked up tighter than a senior citizen on pain medication.
