Yes.......NY actually has beautiful ocean fronts. I am sure you know that. I think you lived here at one time?
Long Island has great beaches and the LI Sound is gorgeous too. Then there is upstate NY. Letchworth State Park is number one in the country according to USA Today. 6 hrs north but worth the trip.
We'll see. I will appreciate anything as long as I don't have to work.
NY State does have beautiful ocean fronts! Although I never lived there, we have a small home in Northampton on LI that has been in our family for generations. I have spent many great summers there when not traveling to MV. Have to admit, MV wins hands down over LI.

Lol. Agree. MV is magnificent, especially Gayhead. I forgot renamed Indian name. It's magical there and I long to be there. RI is also lovely.
There are a lot of places I want to see. I have never been to Ocean City, MD. Everyone raves about it. Never spent time on the Jersey Shore. (Not counting Atlantic City) Never been to Shenandoah National Park. Never been to the Outer Banks.
Exploring the east coast could take a lifetime. Then there is the Pacific Northwest. I could live there.
Gosh. Better get back to work!
