I was shocked when I heard this a little while ago. He was one that I always thought would die young though. May he rest in peace.

Purple Rain is such a great movie. The performances make it even better. Prince was one of the greatest performers ever. May he rest in peace.

I came home from work yesterday and my daughter told me. Couldn't believe it. They are investigating it. T.M.Z. is reporting a drug overdose. Another celebrity gone because of a drug overdosr. It's Sad

I don't think it was an over dose from illegal drugs.
It may have been prescription pain killers that he had been taking due to complications from his hip replacement. Some of his friends have said his health had been fragile.

I read that he was treated for an over dose of Percocet...for pain...when the ambulance first responded that day....."Doves Cry"!! But you know it doesn't matter......he's gone......forever....so sad.
I'm wearing purple today to honor him.

I am sure it was prescription drugs. These celebrities get these doctors to give them what ever they want because they have money and doctors don't care just as long as they get their money

I blame the doctors too...the over prescribing of meds sometimes causes more damage than the actual illness/pain.
