Pasta with Tomato/Basil Sauce

Spinach Salad (with freshly crisp cooked bacon, slices of hard-boiled eggs, red onion slices, sliced red bell peppers, and served with a honey-mustard dressing)

Garlic Texas Toast

Sam, it was delish!  I do love fresh spinach or other salad greens with slices of hard boiled eggs and crispy cooked bacon! And I find a honey mustard dressing goes well with this type of salad.

Spunky, I don't know about being a chef, I just like to cook, and share with others what we're having! As for making ones' mouth water, sometimes I find I do that to myself when I'm just thinkin' about food!!

Oops! I forgot to post what we're havin' for tonight's dinner!

We're having...

Leftover Meatballs in Tomato-Basil Sauce and with Bow-Tie Pasta

Spinach Salad with Broccoli, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Red Bell Peppers, and Red Onion. (Hubby's salad with Italian Dressing, and mine with Bleu Cheese Crumbles, along with Bleu Cheese Dressing and French Dressing.)

Leftover Garlic Texas Toast

And I can't forget our daughter's and son-in-law's homemade wine.

2 kinds of Grilled Chicken Wings - some marinated in Sweet Baby Ray's Original BBQ Sauce along with an Asian Kick Wing Sauce, and the other in an Italian Herb Marinade.

Chicken Flavored Rice

Green Beans 

Rhubarb Cake (for dessert)

Fried Chicken - from Roundy's Pic 'N Save. I have an in store coupon, 8 pieces for $6.00 (usually it's $5.00), but six bucks is still a good deal, plus it's quite tasty and seasoned perfectly.

Baked Potatoes with butter and topped French Onion Dip

Baked Beans

Rhubarb Strawberry Crunch (for dessert)

We had dinner at our daughter and son-in-law's, and we had...

Pork Ribs (with seasoned hand rub spices and basted with a blueberry bbq sauce)

Buffalo Burgers (with lettuce, slices of tomato, and smoked gouda cheese), and served on a Sesame Kaiser Roll

Leafy Green Lettuce Salad (with slices of English Cucumbers, Orange Bell Peppers, Grape Tomatoes, Croutons, and Kraft Catalina Dressing with Bacon)

Yukon Gold Baked Potatoes (with butter, chives, and sour cream)

Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

Bartles & Jaymes Pomegranate-Raspberry Wine Cooler

We are having grilled hamburgers and dare I say it.....french fries....oh well once a month is allowed right???

Yes, I have a recipe for Apple Crisp, and will post it as soon as I write up the recipe and make a selection among the pictures I took of the dessert. I love Apple Crisp, even more so than apple pie.
