Good Morning--Tuesday May 17
Good morning everyone!
Rainy and mild here. I won't complain about the rain since we finally got the plants in the garden yesterday! So the rain is welcome.
Does anyone have any plans for Memorial Day? It used to be a big weekend in my family since my Dad's Birthday was May 29. We used to have a weekend of barbeque & family fun. Now sadly, no one likes to barbeque & we all go our separate ways. 
So it has become a weekend of relaxation for me. 
Funny how things change as we get older. 
Hope everyone has a great day. No flip flops here, just my loafers. People still wearing their winter boots here.

Cold but sunny here! The whole town used to get together for the local parade, not so much anymore, the parades are small now because everything goes into the 4th of July celebration. Sadly it has become just another day off from work. Starting the end of June, we have a different live band in the park every Friday night, people come from neighboring towns. The 4th, there are bands all day and into the night, fireworks, cookouts, we go all out. Our Vets always show up to celebrate both holidays though!

Good Morning Sam, teloug, and everyone else.
Cloudy day with showers expected all day...temp is 59...supposed to warm up....still waiting..
I bet NE and zeke like this weather....flip flops too. I have sneakers and warm purple socks on though
Memorial day is celebrated here with small parades....and a special Thank You to the Veterans and those still serving to protect our freedom!

I hope everything is ok with her.

Hi guys and a happy day to you. Gosh...I am so sick. going to the Dr for meds, I hope. I NEVER take meds. I have on leather/suede slip-on shoes with socks. Now you know I must be sick.
One daughter born 5/28 and the other 8/27 so Memorial and Labor Days always center around them as does the rest of my life. Lol.

Aww zeke. I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is the worst. 
That is so sweet about your daughters. I agree, my life centers around my children. Even though they are grown men now.
