Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember anyone calling Ronald Reagn lazy, even though it's a well known fact he kept banker's hours and Nancy insisted he take a daily nap.
GW Bush? I believe he holds the record for the president who took the most time off.
So I find it odd (others may call it something else) that it's the first time a president and first lady have been called out for being lazy and they just happen to be black.

Then there's Michelle...
Everything's been handed to her since she was in elementary school; she was even allowed to skip second grade.
( How many kids get to skip a grade? Affirmative action anyone?)
From then on in, it was smooth sailing...
By the sixth grade, Michelle was taking classes in her school's gifted program, where she learned French and completed accelerated courses in biology. She went on to attend Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, the city's first magnet high school for gifted children, where, among other activities, she served as the student government treasurer. In 1981, Michelle graduated from the school as class salutatorian.
(Her classmates were shocked, because Michelle bragged about never picking up a book; she said didn't have to, "it was all taken care of".)
Michelle then attended Princeton University, graduating cum laude in 1985 with a B.A. in Sociology. She went on to study law at Harvard Law School, where she took part in demonstrations demanding for more minority students and professors. She was awarded her J.D. in 1988.
(More affirmative action???)
After graduation, Michelle continued her lackadaisical habits by joining the Chicago law firm Sidley & Austin, where she later met her "laid back" soulmate Barack Obama.
(The two made a regular habit of coming in late and going home early while laughing about it.)
After a few years, Mrs. Obama decided her true calling was working with people to serve their communities and their neighbors.
(In other words, talking other people into working while doing as little as possible yourself.)
She served as assistant commissioner of planning and development in Chicago's City Hall before becoming the founding executive director of the Chicago chapter of Public Allies, an AmeriCorps program that prepares youth for public service.
In 1996, Mrs. Obama joined the University of Chicago with a vision of bringing campus and community together.
As Associate Dean of Student Services, she developed the university's first community service program, and under her leadership as Vice President of Community and External Affairs for the University of Chicago Medical Center, volunteerism skyrocketed.
(Did someone say affirmative action?)
After the Obamas "finagled" their way into the WH, things gradually got worse.
With too many state dinners and her inborn hatred of any form of exercise, Michelle found herself getting "hippy".
So, rather than exercise and diet on her own (boring!) she (selfishly) decided to launch "Let's Move", a (sham) program bringing together community leaders, educators, medical professionals, parents, and others in a nationwide effort to address the challenge of childhood obesity and a getting Americans in general to start living a more healthy lifestyle.
(Barack: "Double high fives baby. You get to lose weight and drop that lazy image at the same time".
Michelle: "What about your lazy image?"
Barack: "What you talkin' about girl? Folks see my skinny ass out there on the golf course , ridin' a bike, playin' B ball all the time.")
Many were skeptical, even Congress chimed in on her efforts.
Michelle balked. "Did other First Ladys get shade for their causes... and some of them were pretty lame. I mean Lady Bird was all about billboards and clean highways, Laura and Barbara Bush were all in for reading; who isn't all in for reading, easy peesy. Jackie was into interior decorating and God love her, Nancy stole some silly slogan from a school kid, which landed her on sitcoms and Mr. T's lap".
Determined to improve her image, but unwilling to exert more energy than necessary, Michelle turned to "low key" but likeable Jill Biden for help.
Knowing the Biden's history with the military and veterans and acting on a suggestion from her devious mother, Mrs. Robinson, Michelle sweet talked Jill into "helping her" launch "Joining Forces" a nationwide initiative calling all Americans to rally around service members, veterans, and their families and support them through wellness, education, and employment opportunities.
(Michelle: "Thanks mom, who doesn't support veterans and Jill's such a pushover, I can get her to do most of the "dog work" and still get credit.)
Then there was the "Reach Higher" and "Let Girls Learn" initiatives.First Lady Michelle Obama embarks on a five-day Asia trip Wednesday to launch the Obama Administration’s initiative "Let Girls Learn,"(MO:The girls and I can use a vacation and why not get while the gettin's good.)

Of course the long hours and rigors of attending law school and working towards a doctorate at Harvard can't compare to the greuling schedule of a "model", but I digress.

How did Michelle Obama make it into Harvard? Affirmative action...maybe?
How did GW Bush make it into Yale? Daddy's money...definitely!

These two have their pictures in the dictionary under "tireless" and "go getter"!

Amen, Dolly. That pic of Reagan looks downright silly.
