Good Morning All! It's a somewhat nice day here, warming up, I'll take it, a few showers later... Had a bad day yesterday at the cottage, heard the squeal of tires and a loud crash, ran to see what happened. A member of our community had a head-on with a van on his motorcycle. He laid dead on the road for four hours while they did their investigation, it was terrible. The kids were at the local town hall last night, they had their spring concert with a dead body laying in the road about a hundred feet away, thank goodness they could only see rescue vehicles from the hall. Life is precious, live every day to the fullest, make sure everyone in your lives know how much you care about them.

Morning teluog & all to follow.
Sun is shinning & it is beginning to warm up. Beautiful day for sure!
That sounds awful teluog. The sound of squealing tires is frightening to me. Was it the motorcycle rider that died? It is legal here in Indiana to ride a motorcycle without a helmet. I have never understood why anyone would do that. Although my Dad did. Motorcycles seem so dangerous to me. Probably due to my Dad. LOL
Yes, life is precious. You never know what tomorrow holds.

teloug,
I am sorry you had this happen today. It's just awful. Does your neighbor have family? People need to slow down. I see it everyday.....folks driving like maniacs.
Take it slow today. Again, sorry.

He was 29 years old and had a wife. I'm sure the guy driving the van that he hit, has had his life changed forever. He was wearing a helmet, he died from blunt force trauma. His wife showed up a short time later.

That is so sad. I agree about the driver of the van. He must be a mess.
I feel so bad for your neighbor's family. Twenty nine is so young.
Life is so harsh sometimes. We must remember to cherish the moments we have with our loved ones. No one knows what tomorrow may bring.
