I think this will be a diary of sorts about the things my dogs do.
Day 1. The Bostie jumped in my bed at 3 am and barfed all over me, the duvet, the sheets and the floor. Stripping the bed in the wee hours and no more sleep for me.
Day 2. (which was only a few hours later ) I discover 7 little barf piles around the house. All clear and foamy with bits of orange amongst the bubbles. I have since deduced he ate The Boy's Flamin'Hot Cheetos and half a tub of hair gel. Poor baby was under the weather yesterday but is back to his supremely confident obnoxious little self!

Lol@ hair gel. I have so many finicky dogs. Won't eat their food or treats, but will randomly swallow unidentified slimy blobs or rabbit poo in the yard. Smh!

Aw I love Bosties! I just love those smoosh faced dogs. I have always had boxers and now we have just rescued a French Bulldog. Once you get used to the snoring it's all good.
Poor buddy, those flaming hot cheetos must hurt on the way out! Hopefully the hair gel helped soften the blow. LOL. Glad he's feeling better.
My boxer always gets off the bed when he's going to barf, which I've always appreciated.
The fun we're having now is being awakened by two foster kittens leaping off our heads at 4 am, and refereeing the fights between the three new animals and the current posse. But I love them all and wouldn't want it any other way.

Does your frenchy sleep on their back while they snore? Stella the fb that I care for only sleeps on her back & snores louder than any man I have ever heard! Bosties are awesome! I always thought about getting one, because they big dogs trapped in a little dog's body! Tons of fun!

While lounging in the pool yesterday on a lounger with my eyes closed pretending I was being taken out to sea...My sons' dog that I babysit for...jumped into the pool and I didn't even hear her...you know my music loud..and i was totally relaxed as I floated....well..she swam over and knocked me over into the water...almost gave me a heart attack....But what scared me more is that she may have swallowed some water with Chlorine in it!! She has never done that before...and she's been here all summer!
She seems fine today...And I kept bringing her over to her water bowl...
How bad is the chlorine for her...are her eyes going to light up like a martians????

She should be fine. The chlorine levels in a pool are safe. Of course you don't want to allow her to drink out of it as if it were her own giant water bowl. The pools at dog hotels have chlorine in them the same as human pools. My newfy mix use to lap it up as he swam!

She has rolled on her back and laid there for a while but I haven't seen her sleep that way yet. She does snore but so do my boxer and my husband so I've given up that fight.
She is sooo cute though! This is her on the ride home and the face I got this morning.

Thanks Vantro...we keep watching her to see if it affected her in any negtive way...but she seems fine, looks like she wants to go for another swim...and its NOT happening...I don't want to chance it....she's going home today..
There's this new show with Halle Berry called Extant, she plays an astronaut...and her son is the cutest little robot...well anyway some of the new robots being created have these weird LIGHTED eyes...and I said..Uh oh...our sons' dog will probably start looking like those robots soon....too funny...
Thanks for setting my mind at ease...But NO more swimming for her...and its hard trying to dry her afterward, so that my son doesn't wonder what happened to her very expensive cut......uggg!
Lol that's cute! Drying off can be annoying, especially for ppl that have long haired dogs. The chlorine will make their fur dry & brittle if they swim in it enough. Luckily I have a short haired dog that likes to wade in water, but not swim. He likes going to metroparks to play in the creek, but like a woman who just returned from the salon he hates to get his head wet. If another dog or person splashes his head he gets mad & leaves the water giving everyone a dirty look.

Spunky, my sister's dogs swim in my pool at least twice a week and I'm sure they ingest some of that water. And my kids are constantly spitting out pool water while they're splashing around. Your furbaby will be fine, please don't worry. What a good grandma that puppy has to be so concerned about her.

Haha! Stella is such a good name. Our new addition is already named Elizabeth but we're shortening it to Libby. I'm trying to get a pic of her and my boxer together. They are getting along great so far and actually slept side by side last night!!
The cats, however, are not pleased. Stan has told them to hold their fire for now unless approached first. It's a tense stalemate. Send help.

Concerned?? I was scared!!! And screaming as I tried to grab her... Very hard to carry a 29 pound, squirming dog....out of the pool...when she wants to play and swim. I didn't even know she could swim!...lol
And then she needed a bath, and a blow dry...rushing around trying to get it done, before my son came to spend a little time with her. Before he left again...But this evening she goes home....maybe????
And if her eyes start to light up...I'm out of here!...lol...
