Vets To Trump: Show Us The Money

Trump claims he raised $6 million for veterans.

Corey, the "arm twister" Lewandowski said they only raised $4.5 million.

Why the discrepancy?

“There were some individuals who he’d spoken to, who were going to write large checks, [who] for whatever reason . . . didn’t do it.”

And then there’s the matter of where all the money they did raise went in the first place.Last month,

Trump brought up the $6 million figure again and said “I don’t have the final numbers, but the money we raised for veterans has been mostly distributed.”

For months now, there have been reports about vets groups still not getting the money and, when WaPo looked into it, they found that the donations so far have totaled $3.1 million.

However, Team Trump is not getting terribly specific about it:

In recent weeks, Trump and his campaign repeatedly declined to give new details about how much they have given away.

“Why should I give you records?” Trump said in an interview with The Post this month. “I don’t have to give you records.”

Re: Vets To Trump: Show Us The Money

Another lie....They probably did collect the donations, and distributed some of it...the rest went into his campaign and his pocket.  It's just one lie after another.

Who would steal from the Veterans?? He did! What a low life, crook he is...

If he's proud of what the money he raised and it's been distributed to the veterans, why wouldn't he release the details?

Re: Vets To Trump: Show Us The Money

He doesn't think he has to answer to anyone...He's a liar...and a thief!  He kept that money...

Paul Rieckhoff, founder of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, said Trump’s refusal to divulge how much of the money he had distributed raised questions about whether the candidate intended the fundraiser primarily as a public-relations effort for himself.“That’s just shady. Right? No matter how you cut it, that’s just shady,” Rieckhoff said.

“If he was going to make it right, a couple of weeks before Memorial Day would be a good time to do it. It behooves him, not just politically but ethically, to come forward and account for this money.”

Now...where are those tax returns??
