Good Day, June 1st, 2016
Hello to all. It's a great day here in NY. Warm and sunny. Half day work....I am seeing Turn Me Loose with Joe Morton. 2pm matinee.....the old ladies theater time. They give the best performances for these veteran theater goers. So I am playing hooky from work. Woohoo. Going with my daughter....we NEED the time together.
I hope everyone has the best day ever.....summer is almost here and we'll be complaining about the hot weather.

Morning zeke and all to follow.
We are getting a well needed rainy day. My garden needs a good soaking & Mother Nature has decided to do it for me. 
Sounds like a fun date with your daughter. We all need to take time once in awhile just to enjoy being with our loved ones. 
I did not know what "Turn Me Loose" was until I looked it up. 
I remember Dick Gregory & this play looks very interesting. Let us know how it is.

Zeke I am so jealous! I hung out with Dick Gregory when I was too young to appreciate him (with the parents of course) and I LOVE Joe Morton
Sunny hot to come-same weather as Zekes

Wow NE. That was cool that you hung out with Dick Gregory. Do you have any stories to tell? I mean he was a very interesting man. I would imagine that people just loved to hear him talk.

Hey guys,
Thanks for the well wishes. The play is great. Joe Morton was so good that I forgot it was him up there. Very small theater. It was a well written play. Morton was in the lobby afterwards and took pictures with folks. Yes.......I am ashamed to say my daughter and I took one with him after asking permission. He was going to say a couple of words to my daughter but some mean lady said "ok...you had your chance". Geez.
NE...please share stories. I love stories. Do you remember liking Dick Gregory? Could he have an edge? But I know you were little.
Sam and Spunky.....bet you both have beautiful flowers in your gardens. Any irises? My favorite. Purple.
