I am wondering what my fellow posters here think. I like Elizabeth Warren but I really wonder if she would be the best choice to be Hillary Clinton's running mate. I am not sure two women ticket will go over well with voters. I can't help but think maybe the country isn't ready for that and going there would hurt Hillary's campaign. It almost feels like overreaching a little bit and that can back fire. I think a little at a time is better. As much as I like Elizabeth Warran and think she would make a good Vice President I worry that having a two women ticket would turn some voters away and I don't think it is a good time to take that risk as the general election race is shaping up to be a close one. What do you all think?

I 100% agree with you Need. This country as a whole is still misogynistic, hate to say it but Hillary should have a dude with her to ensure the caveman mentality voters .

I agree...I think she should pick Bernie....he has so many followers....and they would come with him. His role as VP....couldn't hurt our country...and that's whats important here...country first!...TRUMP out!
I do like Elizabeth Warren..and love how she's in attack mode against DT.....but it has to be about winning the Presidency....she should be given a high advisory place on the ticket, imo

Thanks for responding to my post Sunrise. I am terrified of Donald Trump becoming president and I just think Hillary needs to not make any choices that would push voters over to him. Her VP choice could make or break her bid for presidency so she really needs to make that choice very carefully.

I agree Spunky. I think Bernie Sanders would be the best and safest choice for her. The number one priority needs to be winning the election and keeping Trump out of the White House.

I agree. The timing for two women on the ticket has not yet arrived. I don't think Bernie would be a winner on the ticket either. As much as I like him, to many people he is very controversial. I think it would hurt her chances rather than help.
I have no ideas who her running mate could be but she needs to choose wisely.

I have to agree with zeke.
I too like Warren and Sanders, but
a two woman ticket right now would be too much of a shock for some and Bernie does best when he's working in the Senate.
I hate to say it, but he's also too old for VP.

Yeah...I guess you guys are right....Bernie, I liked only because he has so many followers...his ideas are not really feasible and a bit controversial, but as VP he would have no say in her plans.
And, I also agree ... that this country isn't ready yet for 2 women on the ticket.
I know Hillary had a meeting with her this morning...so perhaps they discussed, where/how she would fit into her administration.
Hillary has a tough job in picking a VP....
And I hope that Bernie follows thru on agreeing to work with her to unite the party even if it isn't as a VP choice. His wife annoys me...the way she was pushing him to continue on something that was not going to happen for him.

Bernie, then Elizabeth in 8 years.

I would like to see Bernie as VP, but no matter who Hillary chooses, I'm sure he or she will definitely be better than anyone Donald Trump has in mind.

The way things are looking, Trump's going to have a hard time finding someone to be his VP.
Christie of course, would love to be chosen...too much baggage (literally).
Newt Gingrich? Nope. He was mean to Trump once.
Ben (even if Trump turns out to be a bad president it's only for four years) Carson?
Sarah Palin? One can dream, can't one.
(Same for Jan Brewer and "Bread Bag" Joni.)

Don't be surprised if Trump picks Ted Cruz.
Ted's been pretty careful not to criticize Donald these days and he's with him all the way when it comes to immigration.

No way do I want to see Warren or Sanders on the ticket. We need them in a place where they can make a real difference. Warren does a lot. I can pretty much guarantee most conserves have no clue how much this person has accomplished. Nor could they handle it. Melt down.

I don't agree with some of the things Sanders wants to accomplish, we just can't afford everything, but he's a good man and brings with him the followers that Hillary needs to get the job done. I'm not that thrilled with Hillary sometimes either, I think she's done some things to only hurt herself, but she cares about this country and has dedicated her life to service. Working together, I don't think Donald Trump would stand a chance, he is one scary prospect for this already great country.
