Morning Spunky & all to follow,

Beautiful day here, although a bit hot, a high of 89.

I had the best weekend. Got away from the TV & Internet and went to a fest with my Daughter-in-law & my Grandkids. I rode with my Grandson Henry on his very first Ferris Wheel ride. Then they got to eat cotton candy for the first time. So much fun.

Then on Sunday we visited my Sister for Birthday cake. As a surprise, my youngest Son drove me there in his girlfriends convertible with the top down because he knows I love that.  As he synced up his ITunes to the radio he played music from the 90's (Counting Crows, Goo Goo Dolls).  These were songs that he & I listened to as I chauffeured him around as a teen to soccer games etc.  He was always next to me riding shotgun. (He does  not listen to this type of music  now but he has it on his playlist ).  I just started crying. He didn't know, as I had my sunglasses on, but he made me feel so special that he remembered our good times & kept that music on his playlist. So I enjoyed every moment of that ride, with the sun & wind in my hair. I am a lucky woman!

We got skunked the other night and the lil bastard spayed the a/c condenser unit and so unbeknownst to me, it was pulling all that lovely smell right into a few rooms that I didn't catch until it was too late.

Couldn't open the windows, couldn't run the a/c,,,it was a long hot stinky night LOL

Today I have to wage battle with one of my guest squirrels as she thinks MY chair is a great seat. It is, for me, I am not sharing LOL

Oh no NE...that skunk smell is just awful.

My son's dog got sprayed last year...and I couldn't believe the shock on her face ....we tried everything to get the smell off of her and nothing worked.  Finally, he had to take her to the groomer and like magic something they cleaned her with helped.  She got sprayed at HIS house and he ran here with her???? go figure...lol

But the other night,I was watching her overnight..... it was cool out, so instead of AC I opened the windows and that skunk smell came into the house and she looked at me and ran.....I guess she remembered..or had flashbacks

LOL those tomato juice baths for doggies are very unpleasant-groomers still use that and then regular shampoo after so it appears magical  Poor doggie having trauma flashbacks.  And of course they came to you, you're mommy ! LOL
