According to multiple outlets, Donald Trump will select Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his vice-presidential nominee.

Word on the street is Trump was up half the night trying to get out of picking Pence.

Trump was "irritated" the media was already reporting Pence as his VP pick. But CNN's Dana Bash says the whole situation might be even crazier than it initially looks — and that Trump, who was going back and forth between a shortlist of candidates, might even have tried to back out of his decision last night:

I love it all . It was a complete cluster $%*&. The kids (Ivanka) wanted Pence, as did the slimeball running his campaign as did the RNC. The wanted Christie. Newt didn't even get a phone call to tell him he wasn't picked, he found out along with the rest of the world LMAO

and the wanted to do a wonderful Trumpalicious announcement event and then some lunatic went and ruined that by killing people in France. So he had to tweet it out LOLOL and got almost NO coverage and then Turkey had to have a coup tonight, also preempting his announcement. (This was all written with heavy sarcasm and not to be construed as me not caring what's going on in the world) I wrote this as more like how the feels/perceives it. Oh and the kick in the face to Christie? The announcement event was moved to Saturday in New Jersey! LOLOL

And have you seen the logo? OMG social media is mocking it mercilessly

Pence was a leading purveyor of misinformation about the Iraq War.
Pence is a global warming denier.
Pence doesn't believe in evolution.
Pence says smoking doesn't kill.
Pence says stem cell research is obsolete.
Pence received widespread coverage for signing a controversial “religious freedom” bill last year that many critics said amounted to a hall pass for business owners to discriminate against LGBT customers.Pence went to extreme lengths to pursue a vendetta against Planned Parenthood.
Pence (needless to say ) is anti-abortion.

Last but not least....Pence Praised Hillary Clinton During The Libya Intervention.

Donald Trump charged Arthur Culvahouse, the same DC lawyer who vetted Sarah Palin, with vetting his VP choices.

And Trump has ended up picking Sarah Palin, without the charisma.

One source who used to work as a senior staff member in the House of Representatives told me, “Pence, smart? I used to eat salads at the Rayburn cafeteria that had more brains than Mike Pence.”

Mike Pence who either didn’t read, or didn’t understand, that he signed a law that requires women to bury or cremate their periods, if they contain a fertilized egg, leading to the Periods for Pence movement.
