I love Summer for many reasons. As I said yesterday, I love when it is still daylight until almost 9 pm. 
I don't like humidity but I do love the heat.  I love the sun.  In Chicagoland the Winters are very harsh & for some reason it is almost always cloudy. No Sunshine for weeks at a time. So I long for Summer, all winter long.

I also love the Beach. I should be a Californian! Or better yet, a Hawaiian.  I love being barefoot in sand, with the sun brightening my day! I did live in Georgia for 3 years, loved it! Summer 9 months of the year. Paradise!

 I hear you Sam on the dark @ 430 pm thing-that's one thing I hate about winter.
Hawaii is nice but I would miss my season change and of course they don't have fall winter or spring there LOL
