Good morning everyone
I think the morning started off not to good, but by 7pm it was all good, everyone that spoke was great, but the first lady took over, imo it's was a good start for the DNC

Good morning! I thought it went very well! Michelle was amazing. It was so much better than the RNCs tone. WOW!
I do have issues with the Bernie or bust "voters". Of the 3 interviewed not one made any sense. When asked how Hillary could earn her vote one woman said, "It is a relationship & she has to meet us part way." Wth does this woman want? Bernie wrote the platform with Hillary!!! She clearly wasn't listening to Bernie's speech, because in her next breath she said, "I trust Bernie & what he says", "if Bernie came on stage I believe him". Clearly she does not trust because he pretty much begged folks to vote Hillary. Bernie or bust voters are seriously young & are not quite aware of how this all works. They actually think there is a miracle waiting. Not gonna happen folks. Here is a good rule of thumb, if your candidate drops out, endorses his opponent & begs his supporters to vote for her then one should probably give up on trying to get their person elected. So flipping silly!
Another woman was bemoaning how Bernie was made to wait last, not realizing that he spoke in the primetime spot. she doesn't even understand how entertainment works let alone voting smh. Sarah Silverman said it best Bernie or bust ppl are being ridiculous! To the point that Bernie even thinks so.

Aside from Michelle's amazing speech my fav part of the night was the exposure of Trump products being made in every country BUT the USA.

It amazing how some followers are...reality escapes them.
I'm not a HC fan, and definitely NOT a DT fan....as an Indy (that leans left) it becomes difficult to make a choice, so I have to make a decision towards the better candidate...a vote for the 3rd party will only help DT...so I will not go there. And those SCourt nominations are too important to choose the crazy lunatic.
Looking forward to getting more insight today as the convention progresses.
I agree with Michelle Obama that when a bully goes low we have to go higher....difficult to do as I have always stood up against the "Bullies"...but I will try....I'll try...no promises

Tonight's speech from the First responder NYPD detective was excellent.

I started the evening saying for the first time I thought Trump could win. Then Obama spoke. I’m so angry at my own party right now.

The second night of the Democratic National Convention drew a total of 24.7 million television viewers—approxiately 25 percent more than the second night of the Republican National Convention. The DNC’s first night also topped the RNC’s, pulling in 25.74 million views, compared to the RNC’s 23.02. The numbers for this year’s ratings comparisons were compiled from averages of NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and Fox Business Network viewership. While the 2016 DNC topped its RNC competitor, it did not out-rate the second night of the 2012 DNC, which garnered 25.12 million viewers.

I always knew about Hillarys work with children but I had no idea she did so much for the people of New York.

I knew a lot about Hillary, but never knew the details. Such as her mother's childhood impacting Hillary so much. I am proud of her & I will be proud of her as my president.

Same for me Vantro. Her mother's childhood was a powerful story. Both conventions really made a difference for me and I too will be proud to have Hillary Clinton as my next president.

I like that she accomplished so much and never bragged about it...True signs of a good leader.

Because of things going on in my life, I just don't have the attention span for long speeches. But each day when I see the clips of the night before, I'm sorry I didn't watch. Looks like great speakers with great speeches! I'm going to have to look them up on line. I did see all of Chelsea and HC speaking. Both did a nice job. HC is not a great speaker but I think she really worked at toning down her voice and I enjoyed her speech (although a little long for me!) I was glad that both she and the President spoke about compromise. That is one thing that the other party just doesn't seem to understand these days.
