the view lately...
I'm really enjoying the discussions lately. Whoopi for the most part has been controlling herself even when disagreeing with one of the other hosts (usually Jedediah) or when she is trying to make her opinion the last word. Sara is smart, young and funny. Joy is very good this season at presenting her point of view and sharing her wealth of knowledge. I'm getting used to Sunny and I think she is a good addition because of her legal background. Jedediah looks like she will become the resident conservative. She is good natured about being the lone conservative voice on many issues. Paula hasn't been on as much lately but she too is smart, young and semi-conservative. I like that they are doing mostly "hot topics" without much fluff. It gives the ladies a chance to show their intelligence. This is The View that we've been hoping to see again!

I agree cossysmom..I am enjoying it too...like the hot topics segment and it does remind me of the old view.
I was thinking about BW's today...haven't really heard anything lately as to how she is doing...hope she's ok.

I too agree cossymom. I DVR it and often delete before the end. Lately I have been watching it in its entirety.

Wow! I am thinking I should start watching it again. I kind of started loosing interest mostly because of all the fluff topics. I am not very familiar with Jebediah but I do like Sunny. I heard Joy is going to leave the show after this season and I also read quite a while back that Barbara will be back for half of next season due to the elections coming up. So still much upheaval going on. I also don't care for the revolving hosts. I would rather they consistently have the same 5 women at the table. I like Candace but she has been gone as much or more than she has been on the show. I also do think there still needs to be more representation of the conservative/ republican views. I will watch it again to see if things have changed for the better though.
No matter how educated, talented, rich, or cool you think you are, how you treat people tells us all. Integrity is everything.

Yes...the old view may be back! It was getting boring, especially when they tried to change the format to 'fluff' instead of the "hot" topics that we all enjoyed.
As far as Jerediah...she claims to be an Indy...I don't know if I believe her..her views speak "republican", and she can be VERY annoying. I'm an Indy and I agree with nothing she says. She's worse than Elisabeth was and she does work at Fox news..??
I read that Candace asked to be removed as she rather spend all her time is California with her family and future work on her new show. I also heard that Raven won't be back, but Sonny and Sarah Haines will be the new additions.
Hope you watch so we can start discussions once again..

I like it too. Especially the election discussions. I like them all...hope Paula stays. I will be extremely bummed if Joy leaves again. I like her more than any of them.
