Vulnerable Republicans are wasting no time distancing themselves from Trump.
As Donald Trump Incites Feuds, Other G.O.P. Candidates Flee His Shadow.
Two members of Congress locked in competitive races made themselves scarce when Mr. Trump arrived in their states on Friday.
The two, Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin and Representative David Young of Iowa, held events elsewhere.
Senator Patrick J. Toomey of Pennsylvania, in a conference call with reporters the same day, was less subtle. “Donald Trump is in a category unto himself,”
Mr. Toomey said, predicting that his state’s voters “will make a completely separate decision” between the top of the ticket and the Senate campaign this year.

I just read an article on CNN written by Frank Lavin who served under Ronald Reagan.
Here is part of what he said:
I will do something that I have not done in 40 years of voting: I will vote for the Democratic nominee for president. The depressing truth of the Republican nominee is that Donald Trump talks a great game but he is the emperor who wears no clothes.
Trump falls short in terms of the character and behavior needed to perform as president. This defect is crippling and ensures he would fail in office. Trump is a bigot, a bully, and devoid of grace or magnanimity. His thin-skinned belligerence toward every challenge, rebuke, or criticism would promise the nation a series of a high-voltage quarrels. His casual dishonesty, his policy laziness, and his lack of self-awareness would mean four years of a careening pin-ball journey that would ricochet from missteps to crisis to misunderstandings to clarifications to retractions.
This decision is not an easy one. I proudly served in every Republican administration over the past 40 years: Ambassador and Undersecretary for George W. Bush, Commerce Department official for George H. W. Bush, and several White House and State Department assignments for Ronald Reagan beyond the political director role.
I have seen presidents work with difficult people and difficult issues. It requires a blend of strategic vision and tactical flexibility, combined with optimism and good humor. A president needs the thick skin to ignore criticism and the management discipline to stay fixed on goals. Trump, on the other hand, manages to pick fights that are unrelated to his goals.

It seems that most 'SANE' people are starting to see that DT is crazy! This was an interesting article to read.

LOL Spunky, I 'm not sure they are all sane-those deserters, but they are smart to not attach their political futures to this one- off nutjob or as my favorite to date name for the

ooh...great name!..
Some of my friends are calling him him 'Agent Orange" for that stuff that they sprayed during the Vietnam War (that he was NOT a part of) which caused many illnesses in Veterans. And many still suffer today from the illnesses that this spray caused.....And he thinks he deserves a purple heart???? Crazy Orange man!
