Tuesday August 16th
Good Morning Plan B gang! 
We had a huge amount of rain yesterday & last night. 
We did really need it but why does it all have to come at once? It's a wet mess outside. Plus it may rain off & on all day. 
Today is the first day back at school in our community. 
For the children, Summer is officially over. 
But parents all over the city are celebrating!

Good Morning! It's supposed to be raining this morning, so far it's just a little cloudy. Yesterday turned into the most beautiful day, hot sun, cool breeze. I spent the day with the two grandchildren, they leave for a family vacation in Maine tomorrow, will miss them. Have a great day everyone, got to enjoy every day of good weather, Sam, I can't believe school's started in your area, we have until the 30th. Doesn't it get earlier every year?

I agree that it is way too early for school to start. Back in the day, we started the day after Labor day. I guess that since most parents work these days & that stay at home Mom is rare, that there is a huge need for a longer school year. Too many children at home alone, that is not good. Better to get them back in school & doing positive things.

School starting mid August is still unfathomable to me 
NY was always the week after Labor Day.
Now, I think of the heat these poor kids have to endure going back to school mid August 
Yes, I'm still heat obsessed because its NOT stopping and storms and humidity and ....
Did think of one thing I don't like about winter 
Its gets dark waaay to early !
