Good Morning...Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Hi and Good Morning,
Another bright sunny day in NY.....low humidity. Summer is winding down but not before one last heat spell. As I understand the humidity will be back tomorrow.
Thanks to all the gardeners, vegetables are plentiful.
Great dish: Start with olive oil in a cast iron pan, throw in tofu or ground turkey, use favorite seasonings, brown. Turn.
Throw in every vegetable you can find. Cook to the texture of your taste. (I like the protein a nice brown.)
MMMMMM......so quick and easy and so good.
Have a great day, all.

Haha Zeke I made that with ground white turkey last week. Good call!

We have had quite a few perfect days in a row! Loving it & taking every single moment of it that I can. It will be over much too quickly.

Tonight is vinyl Wednesday. Having some sangria I made yesterday & listening to some records. Nice way to break up the week.

Enjoy your day!

I will not kneel before Zod.

What an inspiration....vinyl Wednesday. Mind if I copy? I have so many records and I miss hearing the music.

Afternoon everybody!

Its hot again, the humidity is coming back

Upside-just made some excellent salsa fresca with garden bounty because I have WATER again LOL
I have a ton, all the neighbors (well except 1) are getting some whether they like it or not LOL

My squirrel collection is extensive now-they are almost to the point of letting me hand feed them-they do come when I call and put their little selves right near me when I serve breakfast

Chipmunks-not so much-I am convinced they are on crack-or sugar-they love craisins ! LOL

I wonder if there is a rabies shot in my future?

Re: Good Morning...Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Guess I am late. (again). Hope everyone had a great day!

It seems I was wrong about our cooler weather.  It was well into the mid 80's yesterday afternoon & the humidity came back.  I had to put the AC on & I waited far too long.  Nothing like trying to sleep on a hot, humid night.

Vinyl Wednesday sounds awesome. I gave my extensive record collection to my middle Son about 4 years ago on his 30th Birthday. It was a huge deal for me because those records were a huge part of my youth & early adult life. But I didn't even listen to them any more & had most of them on CD. My Son & his SO, now collect albums on their own. They have a record player set up in their garage & often open the door to their huge driveway & my Grands play & dance to all the records I love so much.  It the greatest thing to dance with them to KC & the Sunshine Band, the Beatles, CCR, The Eagles....... They love all music. So my albums have come back to me in a way I never imagined!

Your quick dish sure sounds good, zeke. Vegetables make anything better.

Was it emission testing, Spunky?  It is usually pretty quick here. You either pass or not. It is quite annoying when you don't pass though.

That is pretty cool that you feed so many different animals NES. I consider myself somewhat of an Ellie May. Squirrels can be pretty friendly.  But the animals only come out at night around here.  My cat, Lola is quite the animal slayer.  She killed a baby squirrel once & of course brought it to me.  Lola doesn't even have her front claws but she does not let that stop her.
