Thursday, Sept. 29
Good Morning everybody! Another beautiful day today followed by rain over the weekend, we really need it. Haven't had to rake any leaves yet, in fact they have barely changed color. My husband still seems to be on the mend, hope to get out and walk a little bit today. A lot of my annuals are still blooming, maybe they do better when I'm away for awhile! Will probably spend some time with the grandchildren, they are home for the day, my grandson's teacher passed away at school yesterday, we're all just riding the roller coaster that is life! Hope everyone gets to enjoy their day today and the weekend ahead.

Cool & rainy here. Now that you mention it, the leaves are still green here too. My hibiscus are blooming like crazy. Hopefully frost is a few weeks away!
I am glad your husband if getting better. I bet your Grandchildren are the best medicine!
Sorry to hear about your Grandson's teacher. Life is so rough sometimes.

Hi teluog, Sam and Plan b people....did I tell you that plan b has the best, smartest and nicest people....well...I guess I just did.lol
Our trees are also still green, but loads of acorns falling...they're all over the place...squirrels are happy.....did I say squirrels...
Glad to hear your husband is healing well...at least the worst is behind him and you!
How sad about the teacher that passed away suddenly...it will be very sad for those kids when they return to school and wonder where she is..

Cool --LOVE IT !
Leaves on the ground everywhere-ugly leaves-they never did their pretty color magic thing-the ones still on the trees are green. Very odd. No acorns in sight.
Squirrels and chipmunks galore! I can't tell which I like better LOL Soooo cute. They love brownies and apples and banana bread and potato chips (some nasty flavor , someone gave me)
I put a big "table" right by the screen door for the slider and that's where I put the goodies. Right on the other side of the screen door is my killer cat who literally spends the day waiting for them LOL
I have observed (not scientific study) that the chipmunks will come right up to the table and grab the food and THEN notice the 4lb killer beast right there.
Now the squirrels I'm giving more brain power because they check everything out before they approach and they do it slowly KNOWING that their is a killer beast there-I swear some of them are bigger than the killer beast. Once they have assured them selves that they are safe, they will sit on the table and pig out, turning their back on the cat. Outta sight, outta mind? 
So, in my world squirrels are smarter than chipmunks but all are adorable and love sweets!
If you hear of an outbreak of diabetic wild animals-that's on me LOL

NE....I love your little animal kingdom. I love squirrels but I LOVE chipmunks. I wish I could cuddle one.
Teloug.....so happy your husband is better. Keeping you guys in mind....sorrow about the teacher.
