The opening statements have begun today. The Prosecution just finished theirs. The theme was deception. They talked about how the restaurant was only a few minutes away from the day car They talked about he was sexting about 30 woman that day a that a call girl will be testifying that he and she got together and there were other call Girls and other ones he was talking to. They talked about his demeanor after he realized Cooper wax left in the car and how he got to the car and drove off after work and did not know Cooper was in the car for a couple of minutes driving which I did not know that. They have him on camera and his demeanor and all he was worried about was himself and how hot he was in the car. How ironic is that The defense is up next. I will be posting at the end of each day. I don't get home from work until after 1230 and will try to get caught up on the mornings trial but will definitely watch the afternoon session I will post things if I have forgotten some important evidence I will do my best to keep you informec

The defense did not give their opening today. I waited over a hour and the judge came I and sent the jury home because it was after 5. They will give theirsome tomorrow morning. Hopefully when I get home from work I can get caught up and give updates. I was hoping to get to hear the defenses explanation and defense to the charges

I didn't know that either.....he actually drove home with that poor baby STILL in the back....OMG...there are no words.....

How does that jury look? Did you get a feeling that the prosecution put forth a good opening statement?

defense? there is no defense IMO

The jury is made up of 8 woman and 8 men. 4 are alternates. I thought the Prosecution was a little boring and needed to have more passion in their voice but they were very good at the facts and telling their story. We will see tomorrow what the defense has to say. Alot if people are saying it's not a slam dunk for the Prosecution because it's all about his state of mine and not forensics or direct evidence

I couldn't find the opening statements from the defense but saw some clips the defense said Harris was hysterical and showed some clips of him screaming. The Prosecution called the first responder and she said he only cried when he knew some one was watching and was calm in the Police car. She also said he was chadding her up in the car and on his was to the Police station. They also called another guy who was there and he said Harris got the child out of the car seat and put him on the ground and was looking like he was trying to give CPR but the guy pushed him out of the way and did it himself. He also said Harris just went to the other side of the car and never attempted to call 911. The guy was crying on the stand. That was all for the day. If I miss something I will post it. Oh Reality...I guess I have to believe that he was screaming about this terrible tragedy that HE let happen....

What a horrific thing to do to your child...a child..your baby, that you are supposed to love and protect. What a monster he is... I will never comprehend people that kill their own children....I can't make sense of it.

Today the Prosecution showed pictures of the car and how close the car seat was to the front. It was a very small SUV. They also showed pictures of Cooper and some of the jurors were crying. They had the officers on to tell what the observed. They all said Harris was not genuine and was acting like he was upset. Also he was uncooperative toward the officers and said F you to the 0fficers and that is why he was arrested so fast which I did not know. No court until Monday because of the hurricane coming there. If I hear something I missed it will post. Have a Good Night All

The trial resumed today. The Prosecution showed a video of Harris and Cooper at chick -fil-a eating and him carrying Cooper to the car talking with him. More testimony about his demeanor and not showing any emotion. They also showed more pictures if the car and the car seat and all the measurements, the defense tried to suggest angles are misleading.That wad all for today. Have a Good one All!!!

Did I miss the opening defense argument or do they wait until prosecution puts on its case? I think every place is different but I'm also tired so. ...

I just can't wrap my head around what this monster did to that child....why didn't he just leave him somewhere....there are no words to express the pain I feel when I think about that baby dying in that car like that..so sad

I haven't updated for a couple of days and will try to give you the overall of the last couple of days. Alot of witnesses from the day care came on and told how Harris was the main one who dropped him off and the daily routine they had there. The defense brought out pictures of the 2 of them together. They did have a computer expert on but I really didn't see what all he found and need to go back and watch it. They had the Prostitute on who recalls Harris as being fat and dumpy with no personality. They had the officer on who found the Prostitute and had phone records of her and his number. Today they had a underage girl on who he was sexting which we could not see or hear because she was a minor. That was about the overall of the last few days. Have a good nigjt all,

Update on the trial. All last week it was a parade of woman getting on the stand testifying about how they were sexting Harris, it also came out he was with a man on vacation and he also had sex with a woman at his house. He was sexting 2underage girls. They showed a video today of how they took the route from chick fli lay to his work and one to the day care. One you turn left and the other you keep going straight and they were both less then five minutes. They also showed today a video of a man demonstrating how hot it gets in a car to let people know never leave your pet in the car that Harris watched on his computer. Last week the computer testified on how Harris had a link on his computer about child free but the defense brought out it was his friend who sent him the link, The Prosecution case is pretty much all about the location of his work and the daycare and how close they were from the chicken fli lay, and all the women he was with. They also showed where his wife visited him and how forgiving she was and how she kept saying she knew he didn't do it on purpose and also said they can have more kids and if he wanted more which I think is the strangest thing to say right after hearing your child was dead. They should be wrapping up the case soon and it will be the defenses turn. They also showed a conversation he had with the detectives arguing with them on how to charge him using a lot of legal terms which they thought was odd. Hope everyone has a great week.

I guess this case should be over this week....it just makes me sad to think about that baby in that terribly hot car...trying to breath....OMG...just horrible and heart breaking.

His wife should be put in the cell next to his...horrible, stupid woman....ugh

Update. The jours got to view the actual car with the car seat in it, they got to walk around it 2 times and open the door and look inside. It was reported that some of the jours were crying. The Prosecution rested their case on Friday and it will be the defenses turn this week. The ex wife is suppose to testify.
Will keep you up dated on her testimony. It should be good.

It must have been a horrible experience to see the car and imagine how that baby died in there, while his father partied....ugh

I also don't understand why she is on his side now after he let their child die so horribly....I think they both should be put into a HOT car...and let them sit in there all day...
