Finally got my laptop on!  Looks like the sun is trying to come out as I type this, it's well below zero and we got about three inches of snow.  We saw about a hundred Canadian geese fly over on Sunday, spring is near.  Looks like a sunny but cold weekend, I'll take the sun any day no matter how cold it is.  No flip flops here just yet, almost sat out in the sun yesterday but it was just a little bit too cold still, puttered around outside and enjoyed the day.  Hope everyone has something special to do today or someone special to spend their day with.

We are having a cold spell too. It is supposed to be below freezing for quite a few days starting this weekend.   I am worried now because I just noticed that my lilacs are budding.  I looked it up on line & it said that as long as the buds were dark purple and tight & look like a tiny cauliflower that it should be ok. That is how the buds look. 
Keeping my fingers crossed.

We may get snow this weekend as well.   Mother Nature can be so annoying.
