Well Howdy, this fine Saturday the 20th of May
It's actually a little chilly here in NY. And this past week it's been so hot! I am so looking forward to a relaxing Sunday evening at home. Haven't had one of those in a long time.
When I was growing up, Sunday dinner was pot roast, gravy, mashed potatoes, green peas, corn, and gravy-boats made out of white Wonder Bread. My mother made the sweetest gravy that was creamy smooth. God, I can still taste it.
I love spring.

Hi zeke and plan b peeps...I was finally able to sign on to say hi!...have been having computer issues...but hopefully it will be rectified next week.
You made me hungry just reading about the pot roast and the sweet gravy made by your mom...sounds delicious!
Hey where has our recipe chef (Domestic) been lately??
Hope everyone had a great day....it was cooler here today too....so I finally cleaned my house...ugh! But at least everything looks good and smells good too!
