So I am at the hospital for a visit. There is a cafe in the lobby that is ok but expensive. So I came here because I am starving....have not even had coffee yet. The cafe door is locked and the staff is inside having a meeting. Malnourished people (not really) are sitting outside waiting for them to reopen.
WHAT COULD THEY BE TALKING ABOUT AT LUNCHTIME ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON?
I am trying not to start a riot but I am capable.
I swear. Only in NY.

Ugh. Walked across the street to Wendy's. They have been forced to close by the Dept of Whatever. Sign says they are cleaning up the water in the basement. Right.
So now I am eating an omelette in Carrot Top where a couple of years ago the owner met her demise by her own hand right here in the restaurant. I am staring at a large picture of Carrot Top, a pretty woman, looks a little like Janet Jackson, with blondish red hair and very long painted nails. She is holding her cell phone and sporting a big smile.
Atop the picture reads: Rest In Peace.
New York at its best. I love it.

I have to find food, no food yet today
it was a moving day not the final one 
this was sit in new place and wait for cable man and packing suv to the rafters and unloading 
and he was early !!!!!!!!!!! I damn near fainted-he called it a true miracle 
it was too hot too humid and gray all day when it wasn't raining 
oh oh oh.....almost forgot... saw squirrels and chipmunks at new place
