I liked her too and was sorry to see her go.  I didn't know she had her own show!  I think she was on during the time that The View was trying to figure out what it was trying to be.  It just didn't work out for her.  Interestingly, just this week Joy said that at the time she (Joy) left the show, her contract had not been renewed.  Sounded like she had disagreements with the direction of the show so they didn't renew her.  The one thing I've always liked about The View is that  they let the person who is leaving spin it her own way.  Joy chose to take the high road and shape it as her choice.   Star chose a totally different route and Michelle Collins simply disappeared!
