Beautiful day, hot and humid. Hope everyone gets outside to enjoy their day! Had another sighting of Donald Sutherland (spelling?) last night, we spotted him across an intersection and could tell by his flamboyant outfit that it was him, we quickly changed lanes so we could drive by him and sure enough, it was! He was once behind me in line at the pharmacy and I did a double take, much to my embarrassment, I didn't have any control over my whiplash. He has a home on Lake Memphremagog on the Canadian side. The town we saw him in can be reached by boat and I think that's how he travels there and crosses the border. We've seen him walking around a few times, my parents sat near him and his son and Julia Roberts at the movies once, years ago, (this is in a neighboring town, not the town I live in). Just a little small town excitement. I'll be out in the garden all day if the weather stays nice, have a great day!

It's hot and humid here too...but I'm inside with the AC on....it's too hot out there for me..
Happy that you got to see Donald Sutherland...
Enjoy your day in your garden...I'll go out there later, but just to water...then back inside where its cool

Hi teluog, Spunky & all to follow.
That is exciting that you got to see Donald Sutherland! When you say "flamboyant" do you mean he was dressed up? In my mind I see him with a three piece suit & very nice shoes.
It rained all morning 
and now it is even more humid. 
Did I mention that I am thankful for the AC.

It was eighty degrees outside and he had on a scarf, among other things!

Yes, I can definitely see Donald Sutherland wearing a scarf in the Summer heat. 
He must be pretty old now. The movie I remember him most in was Animal House. He was great as the professor having an affair with his student.

He's not very tall, quite thin, his face didn't seem to show very much age. When I saw him behind me in the pharmacy, he had a baby-blue sweater around his shoulders, the exact same color as his eyes, very striking! This time, he was surrounded by several people, including his wife, I think, (short dark hair), his clothes reminded me of what someone from the alps might where, it's hard to explain, but he certainly made a statement!

Someone from the alps might wear! I really can't spell anymore.
