The View was good today!!
Rep. Maxine Waters was on! Don't mess with Maxine Waters' time. 
"reclaiming her time" 
Rep. Maxine Waters went head-to-head with treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin during a House Financial Services Committee hearing. Mnuchin attempted to skirt past answering Waters' question with some long-winded compliments, causing Waters to repeatedly interrupt with "reclaiming my time" to try to focus his answer. During committee hearings, reps only have a limited time to ask questions, so Mnuchin was running out the clock and Waters wasn't having it, and effectively threw the book at him.
Waters' response was badass and brazen, like the congresswoman herself, and has since inspired an a capella gospel remix from YouTuber Mykal Kilgore.
She was great on today's view....
on today’s episode of “The View,” Waters addressed the rumors that she’d potentially run for president.
“That’s simply a rumor, everybody!” she said, adding, with a big smile: “I am not running for anything except the impeachment of Trump!”

I watched, Spunky. Ms. Waters makes me feel hopeful.....that there are still people out there who are unaccepting of this administration and their antics. Yes, I fault all of them because if one does not speak up, then one is part of the program. Congress is no longer for the people. They are fat cats in the "game" to get rich and famous and have the American people foot the bill...... Just regular people who have had advantages in life and are now using those advantages against the American people. I am working class and I resent them. Where are the good ones?

I'm glad you watched the show on the 4th...Rep Waters is great! and won't back down when someone attacks her....or her views..
When I posted this about the August 4th show...no one responded...and I know that MOST people watch the show....it felt creepy, like I was alone on here....

You're never alone Spunky. You are the best. I watch everyday. It's gotten better. I enjoy the political stuff, not the celeb stuff. I like all the panel members....they are even softening up Jedediah. She needs a little softening.
