After a couple of weeks of gorgeous weather, it's cloudy with expected rain today.  Things are a little dry so it'll save us watering everything.  Labor Day Weekend already, got what we call the "Pond a Thon" going on, a run for a good cause around the lake, I know it's supposed to be a little chilly but that will probably be a good thing.  Loving the news on Trump today, the sh_t's hitting the fan, some of his brainless followers are turning on him.  Praying to see him removed from the White House wearing a straight-jacket.  Sitting outside over the week, listening to the loons talking to each other and enjoying the sunshine, I realized that I not only didn't see any other birds around but also didn't hear any.  I usually have chickadees in my bird bath every day, they usually stay around all winter at the feeder, no sign of them this week.  Oh, I did see one hummingbird, they're usually the first ones to fly south, it seems strange.  Hope everyone enjoys their day and the big weekend.  My Mom has left the hospital and is recovering for a couple of weeks in a rehabilitation facility, she just keeps going, the only thing bothering her now is her desperation to get her hair done!
