Tuesday September 5th.
Good Morning everyone.
Wow what a relaxing long weekend. I did go to the beach. It was amazing. I am so sad to think that Summer is over. 
Where did the time fly?
That was great that you got to help out by sending supplies to those in need in Texas, Spunky. So many people doing without, thanks to Hurricane Harvey. I do hope your back is back to normal. 
I did see that Trump & Melania went back to Texas for a do over. 
I saw pictures of him kissing babies. 
I would not let that creep touch my child. Not only that, he just looks ridiculous when he acts like he cares about people. The man does not know what compassion is, Quite a contrast to President Obama.
I am sad that the weekend is over. Back to the grind. 
The weather has cooled off considerably over night. Guess it's official...Summer is over.

Morning everyone! Little bit cloudy with some fog, don't know yet what the day will bring, weather wise. Sad time of year for us, just about the whole town hates winter! Sunday was in the fifties and raining, the run a thon around the lake was a success, the canoe race was not! Yesterday was back up into the seventies and sunny, so we pulled off a partly nice weekend. Next up in the coming weeks will be the leaf peepers that show up for the foliage. Our town depends on tourism, we have a lake and a pond with a campground on each, so a lot of campers left for the season yesterday. We double in size with snowmobilers every winter, but there are less of them than there used to be, it's an expensive form of entertainment. The only good thing about winter, NO SPIDERS. As my husband always says, we're one day closer to spring!

We have had unusually hot weather on Vancouver Island. Too hot. Today we woke to smoke which is cooling things off a bit. Just hate all the fires burning. Hoping for rain by the weekend.

Good evening everyone...just got home a little while ago...
weather here is dreary, showers on and off all day into tomorrow morning...
Wow teluog what a fun place you live at.....sounds like fun for the entire family...you're so fortunate! How's your mom doing?
pets...Wow! Vancouver Island...you and teluog live in great, beautiful places...
Sam and zeke...I agree, I guess our summer is over....so sad....But the Fall will be nice too..something to look forward to....

Summer ain't over here...today it was sunny and hot and humid...now we will be getting Spunkys wet weather starting tonight.
Zeke, you should keep swimming in this weather 
Vancouver and a mystery northern location all sound very cool- I like cool. LOL
The kiddo who is trying to sell me on moving out to CA with the promise of low 70's everyday just got finished with 106 record breaking heat wave that lasted days. Those lovely houses don't have a/c. He is a cold blooded creature aka known as a New Yorker so he has a portable a/c and their little family couldn't get one room below 86 degrees with it going full blast continually. 
My grandog was not happy either.
And now we get to all watch Irma take apart Florida?
But hey folks there no climate change LOL
oh and p.s... Kudos Spunky for the loading of supplies for the Harvey survivors! 
Now, I'm going to post something else that will offend some...but I don't give a teeny tiny rats _ _ _
