Morning Plan B Peeps!
A very nice fall day here. Cool but not cold, I am enjoying the fall weather!
Where has everyone gone? I guess our lives do get busy at times. I hope everyone is OK and just caught up in their hectic lives.
Did you all see Jason Aldean's performance of Tom Petty's "Won't Back Down" on SNL's cold opening Saturday night? I love that song. I will say, Jason's version paled by comparison but still I thought it was nice. But about half way through the song, I started to feel he was altering the message of the song. It was the line, "I will stand my ground ..." . It felt like he was tying it into a pro gun stance via "stand your ground" law. Maybe it was just my Liberal Bias kicking in but it made me mad that he was trying to change the meaning of the song to be pro gun. 
What do you guys think?

Sunny and warm here-temps way over the norm.
Weather lady said its a perfect beach day! 
Sam I thought it was only me who thought that about the SNL performance LOL. And then I thought maybe its just because I am tired. : ) By the very genre they are pro gun-country music types. You notice no comments from them since the shooting? And I mean all of them. There may be individuals who aren't rah rah guns but they are being quiet too. 
Gotta keep that core base happy, ya know?

I am so happy that you felt the same way about the SNL performance, NES. I was afraid I was imagining things that weren't there. 
I mean I was really enjoying the tribute, even though Tom Petty sang the song much better, still I was singing out "I won't back down" in my best TP impersonation, in my living room & then out of nowhere I got the feeling this song had just been hijacked to be pro gun. I finished singing because it was MY tribute to Tom Petty but it has bothered me ever since.
I am so tired of the gun control debate in America. It never changes. Conservatives have no problem regulating my uterus but they won't even have an intelligent discussion about what we can do to stop mass shootings from happening in America. They won't even discuss why the shooter is always a white male.

we were away for the past few days,,but we're back....nothing spectacular just at the cabin by the lake
Its good to be home though
