Happy Halloween!

Well, it is supposed to be one of the coldest Halloween's on record here in NW Indiana.
Where I live, I do not get any trick or treaters.  I live on the main street in town in a bit of a commercial area so no one ever ventures over to my house.  After 17 years, I have come to embrace that. But I still buy candy, just in case.  But I have learned over the years to buy candy that I don't like.

So does anyone have any Halloween plans? I think I will just watch a scary movie & call it a night.  I usually just watch an older movie like Halloween or Rocky Horror Picture Show. I do not like newer scary movies as they are just too scary and take me out of my comfort zone ( I live by myself).  The Ring was the movie that made me stop watching horror movies.  My all time favorite scary movie is What Ever Happened to Baby Jane.  Bette Davis is so frightening in that movie.  What are some of your favorite scary movies?

Have a great day everyone. Enjoy all those cute little children begging for candy.
I wonder if there will be any Trump masks out there. Probably not.  No one wants to dress up as an ass.

Re: Happy Halloween!

A very cold 38 degrees out right now!  All the kids were out, we have just the opposite, Sam, the kids go out in town and go to all of the stores and other businesses.  There are a few houses that were lit up ready to hand out candy, but mostly the businesses.  Our house is on the outskirts of town, we've never had anyone.  There was one movie that freaked me out as a kid, it was at the drive-in and I was supposed to be asleep in the back of the station wagon.  It was called "Experiment in Terror" and my husband and I just watched it a couple of weeks ago, obviously not quite so scary anymore!  Glen Ford, Stefanie Powers and I think an actress named Lee Remick as the lead.  Scary stuff as a kid.  Hope everyone has a great evening!

Re: Happy Halloween!

Despite the tragedy in NYC today, the Empire State Building is blinking colors....orange, green, white, and red for Halloween.   No one will kill the spirit of NY or anywhere else in the USA. Spirits high for the children.

Too many trick or treaters came...I had to eat some of the candy quick...

Its over now....and very little candy left in my stash...have to buy more tomorrow at half price too!

Watching NCIS,,,I guess I'll watch "this is us" later.....

What are you watching this evening?....

The other night I fell asleep while the TV was on and I woke up to that scary Chuckie Doll choking a kid....I hate horror movies....I changed that channel quick!!

Enjoy your evening everyone!

Remember when we had a cute, young president?

Now were stuck with a 71 year old gas bag with bleached hair and eye shadow. YUCK!

Re: Happy Halloween!

I do miss our cute, young President.

JT is such a cutie. I don't agree with all of his politics but he is intelligent & has class.
Our POTUS is severely lacking in both areas!
