Resignation calls to pervert!

Led by U.S. Rep. Lois Frankel, D-West Palm Beach, five dozen Democratic congresswomen are calling for an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct by President Donald Trump. The total number of Democrats backing such an investigation has now reached 139 men and women and is climbing, Frankel told The Palm Beach Post by telephone Tuesday after the Democratic women’s press conference in Washington, D.C.

The chairman of that committee, U.S. Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., said he is forwarding the group’s letter to the U.S. Department of Justice because the allegations the group points to would constitute crimes and his committee does not prosecute crimes.

Re: Resignation calls to pervert!

House Democratic Caucus chairman Joe Crowley and Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier sent a letter to the acting director of the Office of Government Ethics, calling for an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against President Trump. The lawmakers issued this statement:

“Credible claims of inappropriate conduct against the holder of the highest office in the nation have gone uninvestigated. Following the release of a video tape in October 2016 in which then-candidate Donald Trump admits – and brags about – making unwanted and inappropriate sexual advances toward women, numerous individuals came forward to share their own personal stories of their encounters,” wrote Crowley and Speier. “We believe public officials must set the gold standard for professional behavior, particularly those who hold the high offices of representative, senator, and – especially – president of the United States.”
