Good morning Plan B. zeke, so sorry to hear of the fire at your daughter's house, so relieved to hear they are ok. So sad to have to deal with something so heartbreaking, even worse at Christmas. You do find out how kind and caring people are at a time like this. It's a bright, sunny day, even colder than yesterday but haven't heard the wind yet. We have over a foot of snow on the ground but don't imagine the kids will be out playing in it. Keep warm everyone and hope your day goes well. zeke, your family is blessed to have you.

Good Morning teluog and plan b...I agree with all your sentiments to zeke...
People are good...and zeke and her family deserve the best.
The sun is shining here also but its a frigid out there...the thermometer hasn't moved from 6 degrees this morning... Wow! you do have alot of snow....we just have frozen slick spots...but no new snow.
Trying to keep warm and since my sons dog is here....she is cuddling with me....shhhh (she needs a bath)lol.
Keep warm everyone if the cold and snow is affecting your area.
I wanted to add...that sometimes that kindness gene...skips people....like the pervert...totally hateful...so sad!

Wow zeke. That is awful that your daughter's family lost their home due to fire. I am just glad everyone is ok.
My parent's house caught on fire on Christmas Day in 1979. The Christmas tree ignited and all our presents were lost. By the time the fire trucks arrived the den & garage were destroyed. Luckily my parents were visiting family across town & no one was hurt. My husband & I saved the dog and hamster. 
It was a mess though. To this day I have a fear of Christmas lights on a natural tree. Anyway, it is nice that your daughter & family can stay with you for a bit. When something like that happens you really realize what is important. So glad everyone was safe.

Wow thats terrible zeke. I agree Sam. Most christmas fires are caused by lights on a too dry tree. Can't imagine the days of candles on a tree.

Hey everybody... thanks for your well wishes. And you are all right. The people are safe and gifts can be replaced. And I will love having those great little faces around even if it's only for a while.
Sam....we do forget that all those lights on a tree can be dangerous.
It's cold and even colder tomorrow from what I understand. I am sitting here with a heater right next to my legs. I know you all are freezing but spring is coming.....
