Wow....great picture of the last Sunrise of NYC!....just like your name sunrise!!
Cold ...very cold 
here at 11 degrees....but no more snow....we had a little flurry after I got plowed but it didn't amount to much...thank goodness!
How's your weather on this last day of 2017?
Any plans for this evening?

Hope you are feeling better NE! Beautiful pictures, but it does look cold. We got out yesterday, but didn't dare leave town today because it's still below zero and windy, just seems even worse. My son and his wife are having a party in tonight, so I don't have to worry about them, thank goodness. We'll probably get take-out from the local hotel and eat right here where it's warm...doesn't sound very exciting, but it's hard to make expensive plans each year when you don't know what the weather will bring. Have fun everyone and stay safe!!!

Yes.....everyone please be safe and sound. Don't party too much. Great pictures, NE. I am home tonight with family and as happy as a pig in sh_ _. Eating M&M Peanuts and Godiva caramels. NOTHING to do tomorrow but get up and roll around. I am a happy girl.

Well Plan b ...2017 is almost over another year that we survived as friends on this mb..started by Shiny to try to keep us together ...and she succeeded !
I will always be here for you guys...and I hope that 2018 will bring many of our family members back home..
I thought these lyrics would explain my feelings about what being a part of this group means to me...Plan b has become like family ... I see better times for us and for our country, that is already Great!

Spunky....that is such a nice sentiment and I feel the same way. I like to check in here everyday to see how everyone is doing. I like the political comments. And I know the folks here have evolved....open to all people from disparate backgrounds...open to discussion and with respect....warm good-hearted souls.

I know zeke....I remember when he went to the pervert's trump tower to talk with him...
I guess Steve didn't realize what a back lash he would get for doing that...he lost alot of fans after that. I didn't know that Steve was a republican???
I used to watch his show...I don't anymore.....

The pervert didn't even acknowledge him when he went to trump tower...he rushed him out...like he didn't want to be seen with a black person....BUT Steve's too dumb to see that he was giving him the 'bums rush'
And you're right about the coat...I just didn't look down far enough....ewww those chapped lips...disgusting!

All the New Year's Eve shows were pretty bad. Did anyone see Britney Spears? OMG......she has talent but no one is directing her properly. Her dance/song was just awful. Like an exercise work out.
Bring back Don Cornelius. They should do a Motown New Years Eve party next year.

I did see Britney in between entertaining friends....and you're right...great dancer and beautiful girl....but she needs a Choreographer badly! It did look like they were exercising ...
I didn't get to see Mariah Carey though.....I heard that she sang good...but made some derogatory statement about 'her tea'.....I'll have to look it up....
