"We should have more people from places like Norway" Why on earth would someone from Norway want to move to a country where they'll have to pay exorbitant prices for healthcare, sky-high tuition to send their kids to school and really no system or program to allow them to retire with some quality of life left to enjoy.

Not to mention, a country governed by a lunatic and his band of thieves.

President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday in the Oval Office when they floated restoring protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to two people briefed on the meeting.

Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here? Trump said, according to these people, referring to African countries and Haiti. He then suggested that the United States should instead bring more people from countries like Norway, whose prime minister he met yesterday.

The comments left lawmakers taken aback, according to people familiar with their reactions. Sens. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) and Richard J. Durbin (D-Ill.) proposed cutting the visa lottery program by 50 percent and then prioritizing countries already in the system, a White House official said.

Mia Love, whose parents came to the US from Haiti, said in a statement. "This behavior is unacceptable from the leader of our nation."

Love, a Utah Republican, demanded an apology from the President.

In the end it will come down to a "misunderstanding of words and meaning". However, in my opinion and mine only, he meant it all, and he also knows that a great portion of his people believe the same. They won't admit it, and will couch it in other terms, try to make it seem less nauseating, but it is easy to see through. Then of course there are those who at least are honest enough to come right out and admit it.
